Index status of a URL: the most recently indexed version, last crawl and canonical.

Google Search Console API: https://cotlet.dev/docs/api/google-search-console.md

`GET https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/google-search-console/urls/inspect`

Access: read.

Returns what the URL Inspection tool shows for the indexed version of a page: status ("URL is on Google", "URL is on Google, but has issues", "URL is not on Google" or "URL is an alternate version"), discovery by sitemap and referring page, last crawl, crawled as, crawl allowed, page fetch, indexing allowed, and the user-declared and Google-selected canonical. It does not fetch the live page; use test_live_url for that. "On Google" means eligible, not guaranteed to appear. The URL must be inside the property.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `property` | string | yes | Property as Search Console lists it: sc-domain:example.com for a Domain property, https://example.com/ for a URL-prefix property. |
| `url` | string | yes | Full URL inside the property, e.g. https://example.com/blog/new-post. |

## For AI agents: sign your user up

Is your user asking you to sign them up for Cotlet? You can do it for them, no account or key needed.

1. Read the fields and their allowed values: GET https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests
2. Ask the user for each value: email, apps, what you will do with them. If they leave the password to you, generate a strong one and show it to them.
3. Show the user what you will send, then POST it as JSON to https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests.

One call creates the account and sends the access request; we email the user when access is granted.
