# Hide a review

Hides a review from the storefront with one of Judge.me's hide reasons.

Access: write.

Hides the review, which stays in the Reviews dashboard but stops counting toward the average rating and the review count. It can take up to 5 minutes to leave the storefront. Reviews from the Shop app cannot be hidden, and hiding a verified review may lower your Transparency level. The reviewer is not told and publish_review undoes it, so it does not wait for your OK. Hidden reviews cannot be deleted; only imported reviews can.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `review_id` | integer | yes | Review ID from list_reviews or get_review. |
| `reason` | enum | yes | fake, duplicated, spam, unrelated, legal, inappropriate_language, foreign_language, private_information or other. These are the Hide review reasons in the dashboard. |
