# Create an activity

Create an activity on a contact.

`POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/method-crm/contacts/{contact_id}/activities`

Access: write.

Returns the activity ID. It does not use Notify Assigned To, so nobody is emailed, and it does not wait for your OK. A wrong activity is deleted by hand in Method.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `contact_id` | string | yes | Customer or lead ID. |
| `type` | string | yes | An activity type from your account. |
| `status` | string | yes | An activity status from your account. |
| `start` | string | yes | Start date and time, ISO 8601. |
| `assigned_to` | string | no | Method user. Default the signed-in user. |
| `comments` | string | no | Notes on the activity. |
