# Add a comment

Add a comment to a job, location, quote or deficiency.

`POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/servicetrade/entities/{entity_id}/comments`

Access: write. Confirm: waits for the user's OK before it runs.

Returns the comment id. A private comment is seen by your own staff; a customer comment can also be seen by the customer. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `entity` | string | yes | One of job, location, quote, deficiency. |
| `entity_id` | integer | yes | Id of the job, location, quote or deficiency. |
| `content` | string | yes | Text of the comment. |
| `visibility` | string | no | One of private, customer. private is visible only to users of your account. |
