# Create a note

Access: write.

Creates a Note related to the record, visible to everyone who can see that record. It reaches no one by message and is undone by editing it, so it does not wait for your OK. Attachments are not uploaded.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `subject` | string | yes | Subject of the note. |
| `note` | string | no | Note content. |
| `related_to_module` | string | no | Module of the record it belongs to: Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities or Cases. |
| `related_to_id` | string | no | Record ID of the record it belongs to. |
