# Hide a review

`POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/yotpo/reviews/{review_id}/hide`

Access: write.

Clicks Hide and picks the reason. The review stays in Manage Reviews with status hidden and can be published again with publish_review. Yotpo does not notify the reviewer when a review is hidden, so this reaches no one and needs no confirmation.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |

| `review_id` | string | yes | Review ID from list_reviews. |
| `reason` | string | yes | A reason from Yotpo's Hide menu, for example Profanity / Inappropriate, Foreign language or Fake. |
