Open, pend, resolve or snooze a conversation.

Chatwoot MCP tools: https://cotlet.dev/docs/mcp/chatwoot.md

MCP tool: `chatwoot_write → set_conversation_status`

Access: write.

Sets the status to open, pending, resolved or snoozed. A snooze without snoozed_until lasts until the customer writes again, and a reply from the customer always reopens a snoozed conversation. Automation rules on Conversation updated or Conversation opened run as they do for a person. set_conversation_status runs without asking first: it sends nothing to the customer and is undone with one call.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `conversation_id` | integer | yes | conversation_id from list_conversations. It is the number in the conversation URL. |
| `status` | string | yes | open, pending, resolved or snoozed. |
| `snoozed_until` | string | no | ISO 8601 time to reopen, only with status snoozed. |

## For AI agents: sign your user up

Is your user asking you to sign them up for Cotlet? You can do it for them, no account or key needed.

1. Read the fields and their allowed values: GET https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests
2. Ask the user for each value: email, apps, what you will do with them. If they leave the password to you, generate a strong one and show it to them.
3. Show the user what you will send, then POST it as JSON to https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests.

One call creates the account and sends the access request; we email the user when access is granted.
