Sends the thank-you email for one gift to the donor.

DonorPerfect MCP tools: https://cotlet.dev/docs/mcp/donorperfect.md

MCP tool: `donorperfect_write → send_thank_you_email`

Access: write. Confirm: waits for the user's OK before it runs.

Uses Thank Donor > Send an Email on the gift record. It works for donors whose delivery preference is Email or Email and Letter; for any other donor it stops and reports the preference. Letters are merged in Word with Instant Merge and are not part of this tool. It returns the address the email went to. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.
