# List conversations

Access: read.

Returns conversations of one mailbox in the order FreeScout lists them, one page at a time; follow page while has_more is true. status defaults to active. last_reply_from says whether the customer or a teammate wrote last, and waiting_since is the time of the customer message nobody has answered. Deleted conversations are left out. Putting # in front of a number in query finds that conversation number.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `mailbox_id` | integer | yes | Mailbox ID from list_mailboxes. It is the number at the end of the mailbox settings address. |
| `status` | string | no | active, pending, closed or spam. Default active. |
| `assigned_to` | string | no | A user_id from list_users, or unassigned. |
| `query` | string | no | Search text. Use #12345 to find a conversation by its number. |
| `page` | integer | no | Page number, starting at 1. Follow it while has_more is true. |
