Press Request indexing for one URL, which puts it in Google's indexing queue.

Google Search Console MCP tools: https://cotlet.dev/docs/mcp/google-search-console.md

MCP tool: `google_search_console_write → request_indexing`

Access: write.

Presses Request indexing in the URL Inspection tool. If the page passes a quick check, Google adds it to the indexing queue, and refuses when the live test finds the page non-indexable. Request indexing allows about 10 requests a day per Google account, shared across all its properties; every call spends one, and when it is spent the call returns quota_exceeded and submits nothing. A request does not guarantee the page appears in Google. It reaches no one, so it runs without asking first; the agent counts the quota instead.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `property` | string | yes | Property as Search Console lists it: sc-domain:example.com for a Domain property, https://example.com/ for a URL-prefix property. |
| `url` | string | yes | Full URL inside the property, e.g. https://example.com/blog/new-post. |

## For AI agents: sign your user up

Is your user asking you to sign them up for Cotlet? You can do it for them, no account or key needed.

1. Read the fields and their allowed values: GET https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests
2. Ask the user for each value: email, apps, what you will do with them. If they leave the password to you, generate a strong one and show it to them.
3. Show the user what you will send, then POST it as JSON to https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests.

One call creates the account and sends the access request; we email the user when access is granted.
