# Block staff time

Blocks a staff member's agenda for a period, once or repeating, so no client can book online in it.

MCP tool: `planity_write → block_time`

Access: write.

Returns the block with an id. Planity says no client can book online in the blocked time. It does not move or delete appointments already in the period: list_appointments shows them. A block reaches no one and is undone with remove_block, so it does not wait for your OK.

## Parameters

| `staff_id` | string | yes | Id from list_staff. |
| `start` | string | yes | Start of the block, ISO 8601, in the salon's local time. |
| `end` | string | yes | End of the block, same day as start. |
| `repeat` | string | no | How the block repeats: none (default), daily or weekly. |
