# Get a resident ledger

MCP tool: `resman_read → get_ledger`

Access: read.

Returns each transaction with its date, type (Charge, Credit or Payment), category and amount, oldest first. It reads the ledger and posts nothing.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |

| `property_id` | string | yes | Property id from list_properties. |
| `billing_account_id` | string | yes | Billing account id from list_receivables or list_leases. |
| `posted_since` | string | no | Only transactions posted on or after this date, YYYY-MM-DD. |
