# Approve or decline booking

MCP tool: `resource_guru_write → resolve_booking`

Access: write. Confirm: waits for the user's OK before it runs.

Needs the Approval Workflow, which is part of the Master plan, and an account that is an approver for these people. Resource Guru emails the booker after the decision. A declined booking stops taking up availability. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.

## Parameters

| `booking_id` | integer | yes | Booking ID from list_bookings. |
| `resolution` | string | yes | approved or declined. |
| `resource_ids` | integer[] | yes | The booked people this decision applies to, from list_bookings. |
| `reason` | string | no | Why you declined. Resource Guru puts it in the email to the booker. |
