Publish a post, add it to the queue, schedule it or save a draft.

Tumblr MCP tools: https://cotlet.dev/docs/mcp/tumblr.md

MCP tool: `tumblr_write → create_post`

Access: write. Confirm: waits for the user's OK before it runs.

Creates a post on your blog under your name. Set state to published (default), queue, draft or private. With state queue and no publish_on, the post joins the end of the queue and follows the blog Queue settings. With publish_on it publishes at that time. Private posts cannot be queued. A full queue or the daily limit returns an error. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.

## Parameters

| Name | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `blog` | string | yes | Blog name, e.g. 'studio-notes' for studio-notes.tumblr.com. Names come from list_blogs. |
| `content` | string | yes | Post text. Links and images go in as URLs. |
| `tags` | string[] | no | Tags without the # sign. |
| `state` | enum | no | published, queue, draft or private. Default: published. |
| `publish_on` | datetime | no | ISO 8601 time to publish. Only used when state is queue. |

## For AI agents: sign your user up

Is your user asking you to sign them up for Cotlet? You can do it for them, no account or key needed.

1. Read the fields and their allowed values: GET https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests
2. Ask the user for each value: email, apps, what you will do with them. If they leave the password to you, generate a strong one and show it to them.
3. Show the user what you will send, then POST it as JSON to https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests.

One call creates the account and sends the access request; we email the user when access is granted.
