# Assign floor plans to Bayut listings in bulk

Bayut made floor plans part of a perfect quality score, and your Manage Listings page now shows grey floor plan icons on dozens of units. Each one means opening the listing and assigning the right layout, and listings posted through Brokerpad are no exception.

## Can Bayut do this on its own?

Bayut has no public API for floor plans (checked 12 Oct 2026). Agencies that post through Brokerpad still have to assign floor plans in Profolio by clicking the icon, and the Bayut help articles we checked describe only the floor plan icon on each listing, with no bulk option.

## How you do it in Bayut today

1. In Profolio, open Listings > Manage Listings and look for listings with a grey floor plan icon, which means a Bayut standard floor plan exists for that building.
2. Hover over the quality bar to see the suggestion, then click the floor plan icon and select the plan from the uploads section.
3. If none of the offered layouts matches the unit, click the link below the floor plan options to request a new one, and wait for Bayut's email when it is ready.
4. If the floor plan icon is missing entirely, write to support@bayut.com.
5. The icon turns green once the plan is assigned. With many units in the same towers, the picking is repetitive and a wrong layout goes live on the listing.

## How to assign floor plans to Bayut listings in bulk

### Collect the grey icons  
The agent pages through list\_listings and keeps only listings flagged with a floor plan waiting. Orange and red quality scores go to the top of the list, because a floor plan is one of the things holding them back.
2. 02  
### You pick the layout  
The agent cannot see the layouts Bayut offers for a building, so it never chooses one. You send the floor plan ID for each listing, for example "DM-2214: fp\_3302", and listings without an ID stay on the waiting list.

### Report the gaps instead of guessing  
When you say no offered layout fits a unit, the agent marks the listing "request a new floor plan" so you can use the request link in Profolio, and keeps it out of later runs until a plan arrives.
4. 04  
### Assign after your OK, then verify  
assign\_floor\_plan runs once per listing and pair, and asks for your OK by default because the plan becomes public. Afterwards the agent reads get\_listing to confirm the floor plan shows as assigned and notes the quality score, so a score that has not moved yet is visible on the next run.

Before you automate it

## What Bayut allows, and what to know first

- Bayut requires a floor plan for a perfect listing quality score only where a Bayut standardised floor plan exists for the listing on Profolio; listings without such a plan are not penalised for it.
- Brokerpad users must assign floor plans in Profolio, even though their listings are posted from Brokerpad.
- Profolio lets you request a new floor plan when the right layout is missing, and Bayut emails you when the request is done.
- After an edit, Bayut can take some time to update the Listing Quality Score, and the help center suggests checking for duplicate uploads if the score does not move.
- In Profolio, floor plans can only be added after the property is posted, from the floor plan icon on the listing.

assign\_floor\_plan asks for your OK by default. To run it weekly without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
