# Track expired Bayut TruCheck badges and plan re-visits

TruCheck helps a listing rank higher on Bayut, but the badge expires and the listing quietly falls back to Checked. You notice weeks later, when the leads on that unit have already slowed down.

## Can Bayut do this on its own?

Bayut has no public API for badges (checked 12 Oct 2026). Profolio shows the current badge on each listing, but the Bayut help articles we checked describe no reminder before a TruCheck expires, and the request itself must be made in the Profolio app at the property.

## How you do it in Bayut today

1. In Profolio, open Listings > Manage Listings and look for listings that carry the Checked badge but no longer TruCheck, or off-plan listings that lost both badges.
2. Open Insights to see which of those listings still get impressions and leads, so the most valuable ones are re-checked first.
3. Visit each property, open the Profolio app, tap the listing, scroll to the Validation Status tab and press Apply TruCheck.
4. Take 1 to 5 photos on site following the Photo Guidelines (for an apartment, the main door open with the unit number and part of the interior), then tap Submit and wait for Bayut's moderation team to review the request.
5. Expiry differs between rent and sale listings, so badges drop off on different days, and the help articles we checked mention no reminder before they do.

## How to track expired Bayut TruCheck badges and plan re-visits

### Find what lost the badge  
The agent reads every active listing with list\_listings and compares the badges with the snapshot from the previous run. A listing that had TruCheck last week and now shows only Checked has expired. The first run has no snapshot, so it lists every Checked listing without TruCheck and says that some may never have had it.

### Rank by what the listing is worth  
get\_listing\_insights adds impressions, clicks and leads for each one. Listings that earned leads in the last month go to the top; listings with no traffic at all are listed last, since a badge alone will not revive them.

### Keep listings that lost both badges apart  
A listing that had TruCheck last week and now shows no badge at all goes to a separate list. Bayut removes both badges when an off-plan badge expires, and the listing data does not say whether a unit is off-plan, so you decide between a site visit and a document re-upload.
4. 04  
### Build the visit list, leave the photos to you  
Completed units are grouped by building and community so one trip covers several. The agent does not submit TruCheck itself: Bayut wants photos taken at the property in the Profolio app, and one unit's photo cannot be reused for another.

## What Bayut allows, and what to know first

- When a TruCheck badge expires on a completed property, Bayut keeps only the Checked badge on the listing, and TruCheck has to be applied for again.
- Bayut sets TruCheck validity by the listing's purpose, so rent and sale listings expire on different schedules.
- For off-plan listings, Bayut removes both the Checked and TruCheck badges when they expire; off-plan units with a green compliance status or ADREC/ADGM compliance are marked TruCheck automatically.
- Bayut rejects TruCheck requests whose 1 to 5 photos were not taken and uploaded at the property through the Profolio app, and the same photo cannot be used for several apartments in one building.
- A TruCheck admin account on the Profolio app can submit Checked and TruCheck requests for all agency listings but sees no leads.
