# See who viewed your Beautiful.ai deck each week

> Weekly digest of Beautiful.ai deck analytics: who opened each shared pitch deck, for how long, how far they got and which slides held them.

Source: https://cotlet.dev/integrations/beautiful-ai-api-mcp-server/deck-viewer-analytics

You sent the pitch deck to eight investors and a proposal to three prospects. Beautiful.ai records each view, but checking means opening the Analytics tab of every deck, and nothing pings you when someone opens one.

Cotlet does it in your own Beautiful.ai account with list\_presentations and get\_presentation\_analytics, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Beautiful.ai do this on its own?

Beautiful.ai shows views, completion and per-slide time on the Analytics tab of each presentation, on the Pro plan (checked 12 Oct 2026). There is no cross-deck report and no alert when a deck is viewed: Pro notifications and the Slack integration list comments, slide edits, invites and links, not views. Neither the API nor the MCP connector returns analytics.

By hand

## How you do it in Beautiful.ai today

1. Open the presentation in Beautiful.ai, click the Actions icon on the left and select the Analytics tab (Pro plan).
2. Read Total Views, Unique Views, Average view time, Completion Rate and Last Viewed at the top of the Beautiful.ai Analytics dashboard.
3. Scroll to Recent Views for each visit: When, Source (the shared link used), Viewed By, Duration and % of Slides Viewed, and click an entry for its detail window.
4. Repeat for every deck you shared, since the Analytics tab covers one presentation at a time.
5. Beautiful.ai notifications and its Slack integration cover comments, edits, invites and new links, not views, so a reopened proposal goes unnoticed until you look.

With an agent

## How to see who viewed your Beautiful.ai deck each week

Prompt

```
Every Monday, tell me who opened the pitch decks in my Fundraising folder last week, how long they stayed and which slides they lingered on.
```

1. 01
### Pick the decks that are out there
The agent takes the decks you name, or every deck in a folder from list\_presentations. Decks never shared have no views, so it reports them in one line instead of a row each.
2. 02
### Read one week per deck
get\_presentation\_analytics runs for each deck. The agent keeps only the visits inside the week you asked for and compares them with the week before, so a deck that went quiet is visible too.
3. 03
### Turn visits into people
Visits are grouped by viewer and by shared link. Repeat opens by the same investor are counted together, and a forwarded public link shows up as a new viewer on an old link.
4. 04
### Point at what they read
For each deck the agent names the slides with the most time and where views drop off. A completion rate under half usually means people stopped before the ask, and it says on which slide.
5. 05
### Explain gaps instead of reporting zero
A deck with Loop Playback on records no analytics, and a plan without Analytics returns an error. Both are reported with the reason, not as "no views".

### What you get back

Example data

```
Week 5 to 11 Oct 2026, Fundraising folder, 4 shared decks.
Seed pitch: 6 views from 4 viewers. Northgate Ventures opened it 3 times, 11 min in total, 100% of slides.
Seed pitch: most time on slide 9 (unit economics), drop-off after slide 11 for 2 viewers.
Data room overview: 1 view, Lena Ortiz, 2 min, 40% of slides.
Team deck: no views this week (5 the week before).
Product demo deck: Loop Playback is on, so Beautiful.ai records no analytics for it.
```

### Other ways to ask

- Every morning, tell me if anyone opened the Northwind proposal since yesterday.
- Compare completion rates of the two pitch deck versions I sent this month and say where viewers stop in each.
- List the decks in my Sales folder that nobody viewed in the last 30 days.
- Which shared links of the seed pitch have never been opened?

Before you automate it

## What Beautiful.ai allows, and what to know first

- Beautiful.ai Analytics is a Pro tier feature, and downgrading to Basic removes it along with folders and Revision History.
- Beautiful.ai does not track analytics for a presentation with Loop Playback turned on in Player Settings.
- The Views Per Day chart in Beautiful.ai Analytics keeps up to 90 days of history.
- Beautiful.ai generates a separate link for each person you share or collaborate with, and the Shared Links section of Analytics lists them.
- Secured Viewing in Beautiful.ai sends the deck to named emails, and those viewers must log in to a Beautiful.ai account to open it.

Every tool here only reads, so it can run weekly from n8n, Make, Zapier or cron without waiting for your OK.

## Frequently asked questions

### Why does a deck show no views when I know people opened it?

Beautiful.ai skips analytics for presentations with Loop Playback turned on in Player Settings. Turning it off starts tracking again for new views.
