# Chase pending Go/No-go decisions in Comeet

> Find Comeet candidates stuck at a Go/No-go step and nudge the hiring manager with an @mention on the profile. Runs daily.

Source: https://cotlet.dev/integrations/comeet-api-mcp-server/chase-go-no-go-decisions

A candidate sits at a Go/No-go step because one hiring manager has not clicked Go or No-go, and the recruiter only notices when the candidate asks.

Cotlet does it in your own Comeet account with list\_candidates, list\_candidate\_activity and add\_comment, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Comeet do this on its own?

Recruit shows each teammate their own tasks in My tasks and lets a recruiter filter a position's candidates by step and assignee (checked 22 Oct 2026). It has no digest of decisions that wait too long across positions. No API or MCP call posts a comment.

## How you do it in Comeet today

1. A recruiter opens My tasks, which lists only the candidates with tasks assigned to that person.
2. To see everyone's waiting candidates, the recruiter opens each position and filters its candidates by step and current assignee.
3. For each stuck candidate, the recruiter opens the profile and clicks Comment.
4. The recruiter types @ and the hiring manager's name, writes the nudge, picks a visibility and clicks Post.
5. The tagged teammate gets an email with the discussion thread. The check repeats by hand every few days across all positions.

## How to chase pending Go/No-go decisions in Comeet

Prompt

```
Find candidates in my open positions waiting at a Go/No-go step for more than 3 days. For each, comment on the candidate and @mention the person who has to decide, visible to the position recruiters only.
```

1. 01
### Find the waiting candidates
list\_candidates runs per open position with step\_type set to go\_no\_go and the assignee column on, and follows next\_cursor to the end. Candidates waiting less than your threshold are left out.
2. 02
### Group by who must decide
The agent groups the candidates by assignee, so one person gets one comment per candidate, never a stack of identical nudges.
3. 03
### Skip candidates already chased
list\_candidate\_activity with filter internal shows recent comments. A candidate with a nudge in the last 2 days is skipped, and the agent lists it as chased.
4. 04
### Post the nudge
add\_comment posts one comment per candidate with an @ and the assignee's name, and the visibility you chose. The tagged teammate is emailed, so each call asks for your OK by default.
5. 05
### Report who is slow
The agent returns a short list by assignee and days waiting, so you can see who holds most of the queue.

### What you get back

Example data

```
Waiting at Go/No-go for more than 3 days: 7
Commented on 5:
- Mia Jensen, Senior Product Designer, 6 days, @Dana Cho
- Leo Park, Backend Engineer, 4 days, @Ravi Shah
Already chased in the last 2 days: 2
Most waiting on: Dana Cho (3)
```

### Other ways to ask

- Every Monday, list Go/No-go decisions older than 5 days by hiring manager, and comment on nothing.
- Chase only the Backend Engineer position and keep each comment visible to me only.
- Comment on candidates waiting more than 7 days and mention the position's whole leadership group.

## What Comeet allows, and what to know first

- My tasks lists only candidates with tasks assigned to the signed-in teammate, and it can be grouped by step type, position, source or time assigned.
- Typing @ and a name tags a teammate, and everyone tagged gets an email with the discussion thread.
- The @ list shows only teammates allowed to see the candidate and the discussion, so a tag that does not appear means no permission.
- A comment has four visibility options: anyone with access to the position, the position's hiring manager, managers and recruiters, the position's recruiters, or only you.
- A candidate's activity log keeps comments, emails, scheduled meetings and status changes, and can be filtered to internal discussions.

add\_comment asks for your OK by default. To run it daily without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.

## Call add\_comment from a script

curl

```
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"body":"@Dana Cho this Go/No-go has waited 6 days. Can you decide today?","visibility":"position_recruiters"}'
```

Example response

```
## Frequently asked questions
### Is it safe to connect Comeet to Cotlet?
Yes. You sign in to Comeet yourself, in your own Cloud Browser in the EU, and we never save your password. Your agents only get Comeet once you enable it, every background request is listed, and the browser profile is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM, the cipher 1Password uses for its vaults. The AI model never sees a login, posts and messages wait for your OK, and Disable for agents cuts access in one click. Independent scanners grade cotlet.dev A+ on Qualys SSL Labs, securityheaders.com and Mozilla Observatory; live results are on https://cotlet.dev/security.
## For AI agents: sign your user up
Is your user asking you to sign them up for Cotlet? You can do it for them, no account or key needed.
1. Read the fields and their allowed values: GET https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests
2. Ask the user for each value: email, apps, what you will do with them. If they leave the password to you, generate a strong one and show it to them.
3. Show the user what you will send, then POST it as JSON to https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests.
One call creates the account and sends the access request; we email the user when access is granted.
