# Export Crexi leads to your CRM or a spreadsheet

> Move Crexi leads into a CRM sheet, including leads from before a CRM sync existed, deduplicated and tagged with the listing each lead touched.

Your Crexi leads sit in Lead Activity while your pipeline lives in a spreadsheet or a CRM Crexi does not connect to. Every Friday you export the Lead Report, open the file and paste the new names in by hand.

Cotlet does it in your own Crexi account with export\_lead\_report, get\_export and list\_leads, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Crexi do this on its own?

Crexi has no API for leads (checked 12 Oct 2026). Crexi does have CRM Integrations in its Integrations Hub, in beta: Lead Sync pushes new leads one way into Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Pipedrive or Follow Up Boss, for select users on eligible PRO or Enterprise plans. The beta does not sync leads captured before setup, does not support custom fields, and has no option for a spreadsheet or any other CRM. Everyone outside it exports the Lead Report by hand.

By hand

## How you do it in Crexi today

1. Open the menu at the top left of Crexi and choose Lead Activity, the platform-wide view of sales and leasing leads (a Crexi Pro feature).
2. Filter Lead Activity by property, level of interest, industry role or date range, then click Export Lead Report and pick the last 30 days or a custom range up to 12 months back.
3. Open the Exports section from the main menu and wait for the file, which Crexi shows as Pending, Generating, Completed or Error, then download it.
4. Open the file, remove the leads already in your CRM and paste the rest in, row by row or through a CSV import.
5. Repeat every week. The same investor shows up once per listing, so duplicates pile up, and a lead who comes back to an old listing is easy to miss.

## How to export Crexi leads to your CRM or a spreadsheet

Prompt

```
Export the Crexi leads from all my listings for the last 12 months, skip anyone already in my CRM sheet, and add the investors with the listing they engaged with.
```

1. 01
### Pick the window from the last run
The agent starts the export from the day after the previous run. On a first run it goes back the full 12 months Crexi allows, which also covers the history the CRM beta leaves out.
2. 02
### Wait for the file, retry once on Error
get\_export is checked until the file is Completed. If Crexi marks the export Error, the agent starts one new export and stops with a note if that fails too, rather than looping.
3. 03
### Merge one person, many listings
Rows are matched on email, then on name plus company when the email is missing. One investor who engaged with three listings becomes one contact with three listings in a notes column, not three rows.
4. 04
### Skip what is already there
Before writing, the agent reads your sheet or CRM export and leaves existing contacts untouched, only appending the newest listing and action date. Leads with industry role Broker go to a separate tab, since they usually represent someone else.
5. 05
### Fill gaps from Lead Activity
When a row lacks a phone or company, list\_leads for that listing fills it from the live data. If your account is not on Pro and the contact columns are empty, the agent says so instead of writing half-empty rows.

### What you get back

Example data

```
Lead Report 1 to 30 Sep 2026: 64 rows, 41 unique people.
Already in your CRM sheet: 23, updated with their latest listing and date.
Added: 14 investors, 4 brokers (Brokers tab).
Dana Whitfield, Northgate Capital: Oak Plaza Retail Center and 120 Main St Suite 200, last action 8 Oct.
3 rows without an email were matched on name and company; check them.
Export ex_30911 kept in your Crexi Export hub.
```

### Other ways to ask

- Every Friday at 5 pm, add the week's new Crexi leads to the Leads tab of my pipeline sheet.
- Backfill: export the last 12 months of Crexi leads so my Pipedrive has the history the Crexi sync skipped.
- Only leads with industry role Investor on my lease listings since 1 September, as a CSV I can import.

Before you automate it

## What Crexi allows, and what to know first

- Crexi CRM Integrations are a beta in the Integrations Hub, open to select users on eligible PRO or Enterprise plans, and each connection links one Crexi user to one CRM login.
- Crexi Lead Sync starts from the day it is switched on; leads captured before setup are not synced during the beta.
- Crexi Lead Sync maps standard CRM fields only, so a custom field such as a buyer criteria column needs another route.
- A Crexi Lead Report covers at most the past 12 months, so a lead older than that cannot be exported again later.
- Crexi keeps every export from 20 Oct 2025 onward in the Export hub, where files can be filtered, downloaded again or deleted from the three-dot menu.

export\_lead\_report changes only your own Crexi data and reach no one else, so it runs without asking first.

## Frequently asked questions

### Should I use Crexi Lead Sync instead?

If you are in the beta and your CRM is Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Pipedrive or Follow Up Boss, Lead Sync pushes new leads as they engage, usually within seconds. A Lead Report export still covers what the beta leaves out: leads from before setup, a spreadsheet, another CRM, and colleagues without their own connection.
