# Weekly Everfit client progress report from body metrics

> One weekly report of weight, waist and step changes for every Everfit client, plus who logged nothing, instead of opening each Metrics tab.

Source: https://cotlet.dev/integrations/everfit-api-mcp-server/weekly-client-progress-report

Friday afternoon is progress review, and the Everfit Metrics tab answers one client and one metric per screen. With a full roster and two or three metrics each, the review turns into an hour of switching clients and date ranges.

Cotlet does it in your own Everfit account with list\_clients, get\_body\_metrics and assign\_task, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Everfit do this on its own?

Everfit's API guide lists no endpoint for body metrics, and its Zapier plugin has no metric trigger or action (checked 12 Oct 2026). In the app, the Ask Olly metric questions Everfit lists each ask about one client, and the owner-only BI Dashboard (Beta) covers engagement, training and nutrition but not body metrics. A report across the whole roster is left to the coach.

By hand

## How you do it in Everfit today

1. Open All Clients, pick a client and go to the Metrics tab. Only the metrics checked under Manage Metrics for that client appear there.
2. Pick a metric such as Weight and set the date range. For 2 weeks to 3 months you can switch the chart from daily to weekly and hover a point to see the weekly average.
3. Note the change, repeat for Waist, Body Fat or Steps, then move to the next client.
4. Ask Olly answers questions like "What is Client's weight trend over the past 2 months?", and every example question in Everfit's list names a single client.
5. The BI Dashboard (Beta, owners only) reports engagement, training and nutrition, not body metrics, and the help center describes no screen that lists every client's weight change side by side. Clients who stopped logging are the easiest to miss, because an empty week on a chart looks like no change.

With an agent

## How to weekly Everfit client progress report from body metrics

Prompt

```
Every Friday, compare each active client's Weight and Waist over the last 4 weeks in Everfit, flag anyone moving against their goal or not logging, and propose a Monday weigh-in task for the ones who skipped.
```

1. 01
### Pick clients and the metrics per goal
The agent lists active clients with list\_clients, narrowed by group or coach when you ask. You name the metrics that matter per group, for example Weight and Waist for the fat loss group and Steps for a walking challenge, and the agent sticks to those.
2. 02
### Read four weeks, judge on averages
get\_body\_metrics for each client and metric covers the last 28 days. A single weigh-in swings with water and salt, so the agent compares this week's average with the average of the three weeks before and shows the one-week number only as context.
3. 03
### Put the clients who need you on top
Clients moving against their goal three weeks running, gaining on a fat loss goal or losing on a mass goal, lead the report. A weekly drop beyond the limit you set is flagged as well, since very fast loss can mean under-eating. Each entry comes with its unit, so a client logging in pounds is never read as kilograms.
4. 04
### Never report missing data as stable
A client with no entries this week is listed as not logged. When a metric is not enabled for a client at all, the agent says that instead of counting it as missed, so you know to turn it on rather than chase the client.
5. 05
### Offer a weigh-in task, ask first
For each client who logged nothing, the agent proposes one assign\_task for Monday with a short instruction and a reminder time. Every task waits for your OK, because Everfit pushes a notification to the client on the task day.

### What you get back

Example data

```
Progress report, 13 Sep to 11 Oct, 28 active clients
On track: 19 (weekly weight average down 0.2 to 0.6 kg)
Against goal 3 weeks running: Ryan Cole +1.4 kg (fat loss), Mia Novak +0.9 kg (fat loss)
Fast drop: Hannah Lee -2.1 kg in one week, worth a look at her food logs
Steps below goal 4 weeks running: Lina Ortiz, average 5,840 against a goal of 8,000
Not logged this week: Jon Patel, Tom Reyes, Ana Silva, Chris Hale, Eva Moss
Waiting for your OK: Monday 7:30 task "Log your weight" for those 5
```

### Other ways to ask

- Every Friday at 4 pm, send me the weight and waist change for my fat loss group only.
- Which clients have not logged any body metric for 14 days or more?
- Compare Sam Rivera's weight with his daily steps over the last 3 months.
- Give each client who skipped the weigh-in this week a Monday task at 7:30 to log weight and waist.

Before you automate it

## What Everfit allows, and what to know first

- Everfit charts a metric weekly by default when the date range is over 3 months, and lets the coach switch between daily and weekly for ranges of 2 weeks to 3 months.
- Everfit tracks a metric for a client only after the coach checks it under Manage Metrics on that client's Metrics tab, and up to four metrics can be pinned to the client overview and mobile app.
- Everfit custom metrics are created on the client's Metrics tab with + Add New Metric, each with its own name, type and unit.
- Everfit Steps sync automatically from Apple Health, Fitbit, Google Fit, Health Connect, Oura or Garmin once Steps (Automatic) is enabled for the client, and Everfit does not take steps from MyFitnessPal.
- The Everfit BI Dashboard opens only for workspace owners, from the coach web app under the BI Dashboard tab.

assign\_task asks for your OK by default. To run it weekly without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
