# Export your Fitatu food diary to a spreadsheet

> Pull weekly calories and macros from Fitatu, compare them with your goal and get rows for Google Sheets or Excel from Claude Code, n8n or a script.

Source: https://cotlet.dev/integrations/fitatu-api-mcp-server/export-food-diary-to-spreadsheet

Fitatu shows your week in charts, but your coach or your own sheet wants the numbers in rows, and the app gives you no file to copy them from.

Cotlet does it in your own Fitatu account with get\_nutrition\_summary, get\_daily\_goals and get\_diary, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Fitatu do this on its own?

Fitatu has a Summary view in the app but no API, and its help center describes no export of diary data (checked 13 Oct 2026). Health Connect and Apple Health receive meals from Fitatu on the phone and are not a way to read them from code.

## How you do it in Fitatu today

1. Open Summary and go to the Balance section for total intake, average intake and calorie balance.
2. Pick the period. Free accounts see 1 to 7 days, while Premium and Premium+AI accounts can choose any period.
3. Read the macronutrient values from the charts and type them into the sheet by hand, day by day.
4. Open the diary of each day that looks off to see which meal caused it.

## How to export your Fitatu food diary to a spreadsheet

Prompt

```
Every Monday, pull last week's calories and macros from Fitatu, compare them with my daily goal and give me rows to append to my sheet.
```

1. 01
### Read the week
get\_nutrition\_summary returns the totals for the date range you give, so one call replaces opening Balance and reading seven charts.
2. 02
### Read the goal
get\_daily\_goals returns your calorie and macro goals, and the agent computes the gap per day instead of showing raw totals only.
3. 03
### Open the days that look wrong
For each day above or below the goal by more than your threshold, get\_diary reads the entries, so the report names the meal behind the gap.
4. 04
### Shape the rows
The agent returns one row per day with date, calories, protein, fat, carbs and the gap to goal, ready for an n8n Google Sheets node or a script that appends them.

### What you get back

Example data

```
Week 6 to 12 Oct: 14,420 kcal in total, 2,060 a day, goal 2,150
Protein 880 g, fat 484 g, carbs 1,636 g
Balance against the goal: 630 kcal under
Days over goal: 2 (Sat 2,480, Sun 2,310)
Sat meal behind the gap: dinner, 1,100 kcal
```

### Other ways to ask

- Do the same for the last four weeks and give me one row per week.
- List only the days when protein was under my goal, with the meals logged those days.
- Every Sunday evening, send the weekly rows to my n8n webhook as JSON.

## What Fitatu allows, and what to know first

- Fitatu Summary lists macronutrients, vitamins, minerals, carbohydrate exchanges and protein-fat exchanges in its Balance section.
- Fitatu warns that some manufacturers give incomplete data, so a Total can be underestimated because it uses only the values available.
- Fitatu free accounts can view a Summary of 1 to 7 days, while Premium and Premium+AI users can pick any period.
- Fitatu Premium and Premium+AI users can set a different calorie goal for each day of the week.

Every tool here only reads, so it can run weekly from n8n, Make, Zapier or cron without waiting for your OK.

## Call get\_nutrition\_summary from a script

curl

```
curl "https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/fitatu/nutrition-summary?from=2026-10-06&to=2026-10-12" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $COTLET_API_KEY"
```

## For AI agents: sign your user up

Is your user asking you to sign them up for Cotlet? You can do it for them, no account or key needed.

1. Read the fields and their allowed values: GET https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests
2. Ask the user for each value: email, apps, what you will do with them. If they leave the password to you, generate a strong one and show it to them.
3. Show the user what you will send, then POST it as JSON to https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests.

One call creates the account and sends the access request; we email the user when access is granted.
