# Log diet catering meals in Fitatu in bulk

> Turn a weekly catering menu into Fitatu diary entries with calories and macros per meal, without typing five quick adds a day. Hosted, nothing to run.

Source: https://cotlet.dev/integrations/fitatu-api-mcp-server/log-diet-catering-meals

Your diet catering delivers five boxes a day with calories and macros printed on each, and Fitatu has none of those meals in its database.

Cotlet does it in your own Fitatu account with get\_diary and log\_quick\_entry, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Fitatu do this on its own?

Fitatu has no API and no bulk entry (checked 13 Oct 2026). Its help center names Quick add as the way to log diet catering, one entry at a time.

## How you do it in Fitatu today

1. Tap + next to the meal in the diary, for example Lunch.
2. Choose Quick add, found at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Fill in the nutrition values from the box label and save. The entry lands in that meal.
4. Repeat for every meal of every day. Quick add entries do not go to your Own list, so nothing carries over to the next day.

## How to log diet catering meals in Fitatu in bulk

Prompt

```
Here is this week's catering menu with calories and macros per meal. Add each meal to Fitatu on its day and tell me the daily totals.
```

1. 01
### Map boxes to meals
Your agent reads the menu you paste and assigns each box to a meal name from your own scheme, since you pick which meals appear under Settings > Meal scheme and times.
2. 02
### Check what is already there
get\_diary runs for each day first. A meal that already has entries is left alone and listed, so a second run of the same week never doubles a day.
3. 03
### Log one entry per box
log\_quick\_entry writes the calories and macros from the menu into the meal. No product is searched, so the numbers are exactly those on the label.
4. 04
### Compare totals
After the last entry, the agent reads the diary again and checks that each day matches the menu total, flagging a day that does not.

### What you get back

Example data

```
Week of 13 Oct: 35 entries planned, 30 logged
Mon 14 Oct: 1,800 kcal (breakfast 420, second breakfast 180, lunch 624, dinner 310, snack 266)
Skipped 5: Thursday already has entries
Daily totals match the menu: 6 of 6 checked days
```

### Other ways to ask

- Log only lunches and dinners from this menu, I eat breakfast on my own.
- Read the diary for next week first and tell me which days still have no entries.
- Add Monday's menu now, with all meals marked as eaten, and the rest of the week Sunday evening.

## What Fitatu allows, and what to know first

- Fitatu Quick add enters nutrition values without choosing a product or meal, and the entry does not appear in your Own list.
- Fitatu shows by default breakfast, second breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack and supper, and you choose which of them appear in Settings.
- Fitatu Premium and Premium+AI users can set custom meal names and times, so a menu mapped to the default names may not match your diary.
- Fitatu calculates calories and macros for each meal separately once entries are in the diary.

log\_quick\_entry changes only your own Fitatu data and reach no one else, so it runs without asking first.

## Call log\_quick\_entry from a script

curl

```
curl -X POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/fitatu/quick-entries \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $COTLET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"date":"2026-10-14","meal":"lunch","kcal":624,"protein_g":38,"fat_g":24,"carbs_g":64}'
```

Example response

```
{
"item_id": "it_7a31",
"date": "2026-10-14",
"meal": "lunch",
"kcal": 624,
"protein_g": 38,
"fat_g": 24,
"carbs_g": 64,
"status": "logged"
}
```

MCP: add https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1 with the same key; the call is fitatu\_write → log\_quick\_entry. Example data.

## For AI agents: sign your user up

Is your user asking you to sign them up for Cotlet? You can do it for them, no account or key needed.

1. Read the fields and their allowed values: GET https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests
2. Ask the user for each value: email, apps, what you will do with them. If they leave the password to you, generate a strong one and show it to them.
3. Show the user what you will send, then POST it as JSON to https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests.

One call creates the account and sends the access request; we email the user when access is granted.
