# Chase unpaid iFirma invoices with payment reminders

> Find overdue iFirma invoices and send each buyer a Ponaglenie or Monit by your rule. Your agent asks OK first and reports who owes what.

Source: https://cotlet.dev/integrations/ifirma-api-mcp-server/chase-unpaid-invoices

Invoices pass their due date quietly, and chasing them means opening the list, finding the late ones and writing a reminder for each buyer.

Cotlet does it in your own iFirma account with list\_invoices and send\_payment\_reminder, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can iFirma do this on its own?

iFirma's API lists invoices filtered by status przeterminowane (overdue) and records payments (checked 14 Oct 2026), but it documents no call for payment reminders. They are created in the app under "Windykacja" or from the invoice list.

## How you do it in iFirma today

1. Go to "Sprzedaż ➡ Faktury ➡ Lista faktur"; a dark orange icon in the last column marks an invoice that is unpaid and past due.
2. Click the "Lista przypomnień" icon and add a new reminder: Ponaglenie, Monit or Wezwanie do zapłaty.
3. Check the creditor and debtor data, the subject and the message, then choose "wyślij" to email it or "wyślij bez kopii" to skip the copy to yourself.
4. Track it in "Listy przypomnień" or in the invoice's "Operacje" tab, where the delivery status of emailed reminders shows.
5. What repeats: every late invoice needs its own reminder, and a reminder to the same buyer is easy to send twice.

## How to chase unpaid iFirma invoices with payment reminders

Prompt

```
List my overdue iFirma invoices. For each one, send a Monit to the buyer, except invoices under 100 PLN, and tell me the total still owed per contractor.
```

1. 01
### Read the overdue list
list\_invoices with status overdue returns each late invoice with the amount paid so far, so the amount owed is gross minus paid, not the invoice total.
2. 02
### Skip what already has a reminder
The agent opens each invoice and skips one that shows a reminder already, so a buyer is not chased twice in a week.
3. 03
### Apply your threshold and tone
Invoices under your limit are listed but not chased. The rest get a Monit by default, or a Ponaglenie if you say so. A Wezwanie do zapłaty is never sent without you naming it.
4. 04
### Send, then report
send\_payment\_reminder emails the buyer from the address on the contractor record. By default it waits for your OK, because it reaches your customer.
5. 05
### Total per contractor
You get the amount still owed per contractor, so the biggest debts are the first thing you read.

### What you get back

Example data

```
Overdue invoices: 6
Monit sent to 4:
- Harbor Print Ltd, 39/2026: 800.00 PLN, 12 days late
- Blue Fern Studio, 31/2026: 1,230.00 PLN, 9 days late
Skipped under 100 PLN: 1
Already has a reminder: 1
Still owed in total: 4,680.00 PLN
```

### Other ways to ask

- Every Monday, send a Ponaglenie two days before the due date on invoices over 1,000 PLN.
- List overdue invoices by contractor with the days late, and send nothing.
- Draft a Wezwanie do zapłaty for Harbor Print Ltd and wait for me to review it.

## What iFirma allows, and what to know first

- iFirma has three reminder documents: Ponaglenie before the due date, Monit after it, and Wezwanie do zapłaty as a formal demand.
- A reminder can be edited or deleted only until it has been emailed.
- The default sender of an emailed reminder is faktury@ifirma.pl; changing the sender address needs a paid plan.
- iFirma recommends sending a Wezwanie do zapłaty by registered letter, and its email option is not that route.
- The reminder goes to the email on the buyer's contractor record, and the seller gets a copy unless "wyślij bez kopii" is used.

send\_payment\_reminder asks for your OK by default. To run it weekly without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.

## Call send\_payment\_reminder from a script

curl

```
curl -X POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/ifirma/invoices/7020104/payment-reminders \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $COTLET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"type":"monit","send_copy_to_me":true}'
```

Example response

```
{
"invoice_id": 7020104,
"type": "monit",
"sent_to": "office@harborprint.example",
"copy_sent_to_me": true
}
```

MCP: add https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1 with the same key; the call is ifirma\_write → send\_payment\_reminder. Example data.

## For AI agents: sign your user up

Is your user asking you to sign them up for Cotlet? You can do it for them, no account or key needed.

1. Read the fields and their allowed values: GET https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests
2. Ask the user for each value: email, apps, what you will do with them. If they leave the password to you, generate a strong one and show it to them.
3. Show the user what you will send, then POST it as JSON to https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/access-requests.

One call creates the account and sends the access request; we email the user when access is granted.
