# Get a weekly Mangomint sales and cancellations report

On Monday morning the owner wants last week in one message: sales against the week before, who sold what, and which clients canceled without rebooking. In Mangomint that is three or four reports, each with its own dates to set.

## Can Mangomint do this on its own?

Mangomint has no API for reports (checked 12 Oct 2026). The Reports app shows each report on screen and offers an Excel download for several of them; the Reports help articles describe no scheduled email of a report. Webhooks send each completed sale as it happens, not totals for a week.

## How you do it in Mangomint today

1. Open the Mangomint Reports app, choose Sales Summary, set last week's dates and locations, and read # Sales, Service Sales, Product Sales, Tips and Gross Total for each day.
2. Run Service & Product Sales By Staff for the same dates to see each staff member's service and product totals.
3. Open Appointment Cancellations for the same week, read the Type and Next Appointment columns, and download the Excel file to see who canceled each appointment.
4. Copy the totals into a spreadsheet or a message, then repeat the date setting for the week before to compare.
5. The same date picking repeats every Monday, and an open sale from Saturday that nobody closed is missing from the totals until someone closes it.

### Pin the week to the salon clock  
The agent reads list\_locations for each location's time zone and sets Monday to Sunday in that zone, so a late Sunday checkout is not pushed into the wrong week.

### Pull this week and last  
It calls get\_report for sales\_summary and sales\_by\_staff for last week and the week before, and works out the change in gross and net totals and in product share.
3. 03  
### Sort the cancellations  
From canceled\_appointments it separates normal cancellations from late cancellations and no-shows, and lists only clients with no next appointment, the ones worth a call.
4. 04  
### Flag numbers that look wrong  
A day with zero sales during opening hours, or a sharp drop on one day, gets a note that open sales may not be closed yet. The agent reports it and does not guess the missing amount.

- Every Monday at 8am, send last week's Sales Summary for each location next to the same week last month.
- On the 1st of each month, show me Client Retention by staff for the month that ended three months ago.
- List last week's late cancellations and no-shows with phone numbers and no next appointment, for the front desk to call.

Before you automate it

## What Mangomint allows, and what to know first

- Mangomint Sales reports count closed sales by sale date, and an open sale stays out of the Sales reports and the Payroll report until someone closes it.
- Mangomint treats gift card, package and membership sales as deferred revenue, so they appear in Sales Summary only when redeemed.
- The Mangomint Appointment Cancellations report also lists deleted appointments and expired Express Bookings, and client email, service price and who canceled appear only in its Excel download.
- Sales of archived Mangomint staff members stay in Sales and Payment reports, but archived staff drop out of the Payroll report.
- Mangomint Reports need an Admin user or the Can access company reports permission.
