# Send Podium review invites from a customer list

> Turn a list of finished jobs or visits into Podium review invites: match contacts, skip anyone invited in the last 60 days, and confirm each send.

Your visit list lives in a spreadsheet or another system, and each person on it still needs a review invite from Podium, one at a time.

Cotlet does it in your own Podium account with list\_contacts and send\_review\_invite, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Podium do this on its own?

Podium sends invites by automation and has a reminder automation, Send an Unopened Review Invite Reminder (checked 23 Oct 2026). Its API creates a review invite link, and you send that link with the message endpoint. Nothing in Podium takes a list of names from outside Podium and invites them in one pass.

## How you do it in Podium today

1. From the Inbox, open All Conversations and find the conversation with the customer.
2. Click the Templates icon and choose the Review Invitation template. A reminder is the Review Invitation Reminder template.
3. Or use the review invite shortcut on the Reviews page, or the + button in the main navigation bar. The form asks for a recipient, a location and a template.
4. Send, then repeat for each name on the list.
5. Podium refuses a second invitation link for the same contact inside 60 days, which you only find out when you try.

## How to send Podium review invites from a customer list

Prompt

```
Here are the patients who finished treatment this week. For each one, find the contact in Podium and send the Review Invitation - Default template. Skip anyone invited in the last 60 days.
```

1. 01
### Match the list to contacts
For each name or phone number in your list, list\_contacts with query finds the Podium contact. A person with no match or two matches is listed for you, not invited.
2. 02
### Pick the template
The default is Review Invitation - Default, which greets the contact by name and asks for a review with a link. For people invited last week who did not answer, the agent uses Review Invitation Reminder if your prompt says so.
3. 03
### Respect the 60-day limit
Podium allows one review invitation link per contact in 60 days. When send\_review\_invite fails for that reason, the agent logs the contact as already invited and goes on to the next one.
4. 04
### Send after your OK
send\_review\_invite reaches a customer, so each call waits for your OK by default. The agent shows the name, the number and the template first.
5. 05
### Report who got what
The agent returns the invited, skipped and unmatched names, so the list can be corrected before next week.

### What you get back

Example data

```
People on the list: 12
Invited 9 (Review Invitation - Default)
Skipped 2 (invited in the last 60 days)
Not found in Podium 1: Carl Mendez, +1 555 555 0177
```

### Other ways to ask

- Send the reminder template to everyone invited 7 days ago who has not left a review.
- Invite only customers tagged cleaning, and list the rest.
- Match this list to Podium contacts and show me who is missing, without sending anything.

## What Podium allows, and what to know first

- Podium enforces a 60-day limit on generating review invitation links for the same contact.
- The Review Invitation - Default template greets the contact and asks for a review with a link; the Review Invitation Reminder template is for a follow-up.
- Podium asks you to connect your account to your review sites before you can send review invites.
- On accounts with more than one location, the invite form asks for the location, so the invite goes out for the right business profile.

send\_review\_invite asks for your OK by default. To run it weekly without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
