# Record Számlázz.hu invoice payments from bank transfers

> Record bank transfers as payments on Számlázz.hu invoices, including partial payments, and see what is still outstanding. Runs daily, hosted.

Source: https://cotlet.dev/integrations/szamlazz-hu-api-mcp-server/record-invoice-payments

Customers pay by transfer, and someone has to open each Számlázz.hu invoice and enter the credit date and amount so the paid status is right.

Cotlet does it in your own Számlázz.hu account with get\_invoice and record\_payment, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Számlázz.hu do this on its own?

The Számla Agent API registers a credit entry for an invoice with one XML message (checked 14 Oct 2026). It is an extra-cost add-on and needs an Agent key. Payment status changes are reported back through IPN messages. Bulk settlement is a web interface feature.

## How you do it in Számlázz.hu today

1. Click the invoice number in Számla / Kimenő számláim, or click the three dots at the end of its row.
2. Choose Pénzügyek / Befizetések.
3. Enter the jóváírás dátuma, the amount and the jogcím (payment type or title). Add a comment if you want one.
4. For a part payment, enter the smaller amount; you can record several payments against the same invoice.
5. To mark many invoices paid at once, select them and click Bizonylatok kiegyenlítése in the list header, enter the credit date and confirm.

## How to record Számlázz.hu invoice payments from bank transfers

Prompt

```
Here are this morning's bank transfers: ABC-2026-00140 paid 127,000 HUF on 2026-10-13, ABC-2026-00142 paid 50,000 HUF on 2026-10-13. Record each as a payment in Számlázz.hu, and tell me what is still outstanding on each.
```

1. 01
### Match the transfer to an invoice
Your agent reads each invoice with get\_invoice and compares the buyer, the invoice number in the transfer reference and the gross amount. A transfer it cannot match is left for you.
2. 02
### Check what is already paid
get\_invoice shows the payments already on the invoice, so a transfer that was entered yesterday is not entered twice.
3. 03
### Enter the payment
record\_payment adds the credit date, the amount and the payment type. A transfer smaller than the open amount is recorded as a part payment, not forced to full.
4. 04
### Confirm each entry
A payment changes the paid status your accountant relies on, so each call waits for your OK until you switch confirmation off for the tool.
5. 05
### Report what remains
The agent lists the open amount on each invoice after the entry, so a part payment shows up as outstanding and not as paid.

### What you get back

Example data

```
Recorded 2 payments for 13 Oct 2026
ABC-2026-00140: 127,000 HUF, fully paid
ABC-2026-00142: 50,000 HUF of 127,000, outstanding 77,000 HUF
Not matched: 0
```

### Other ways to ask

- Every morning, match the bank transfers in this CSV to open invoices and record the exact matches.
- Show me every invoice with an outstanding amount and its due date. Do not record anything.
- Record 50,000 HUF as a part payment on ABC-2026-00142 with the title bank transfer.

## What Számlázz.hu allows, and what to know first

- You can record a part payment and several payments against the same invoice, each with its own credit date, amount and title.
- Recording payment status is not available on the #free package.
- With the #digital or #profi package and Autokassza, bank transfers can be matched to invoices automatically; payments from other sources still need entering.
- The Bizonylatok kiegyenlítése bulk settlement gives all selected invoices the same payment date and cannot be undone.
- Users without permission to manage payment status cannot see payment status or use its filters.

record\_payment asks for your OK by default. To run it daily without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.

## Frequently asked questions

Yes. You sign in to Számlázz.hu yourself, in your own Cloud Browser in the EU, and we never save your password. Your agents only get Számlázz.hu once you enable it, every background request is listed, and the browser profile is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM, the cipher 1Password uses for its vaults. The AI model never sees a login, posts and messages wait for your OK, and Disable for agents cuts access in one click.
