# Tiqets API and MCP server

> Tiqets has an API only for distribution partners such as travel agencies, not for customers (checked 11 Oct 2026). It lists the orders a partner generated, so it cannot see the bookings or tickets of your own Tiqets account.

Online marketplace for museum, attraction and tour tickets, delivered as mobile tickets.

## What is the Tiqets API?

Cotlet's Tiqets API exposes 9 endpoints for your own Tiqets account: search experiences, get experience, check availability, list bookings, get booking, download tickets, start checkout, reschedule booking and cancel booking. The search_experiences endpoint returns attractions, museums and tours on Tiqets by text and city, with price from. Each endpoint takes simple JSON inputs like order_id, product_id or date and works both as an MCP tool for agents and as a REST call for scripts.

## For AI agents

```text
Tiqets has an API only for distribution partners such as travel agencies, not for customers (checked 11 Oct 2026). It lists the orders a partner generated, so it cannot see the bookings or tickets of your own Tiqets account.
Cotlet provides a hosted MCP server and REST API for Tiqets: 9 tools (6 read, 3 write).
Access       Request access at https://cotlet.dev/app/signup?app=tiqets; we email the API key.
MCP server   https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1
REST base    https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/tiqets
Auth         Authorization: Bearer <COTLET_API_KEY>. Listing endpoints and schemas needs no key; calling an endpoint needs one.
Tools        search_experiences, get_experience, check_availability, list_bookings, get_booking, download_tickets, start_checkout, reschedule_booking, cancel_booking
Confirm      reschedule_booking, cancel_booking (by default the user approves each call; the user can switch this off per tool, e.g. for scheduled automations)
Markdown     https://cotlet.dev/integrations/tiqets-api-mcp-server.md
How access works:
1. The user requests access at https://cotlet.dev/app/signup?app=tiqets (Tiqets is pre-selected). Each request is reviewed and the API key is sent by email.
2. The user signs in to Tiqets once in a browser. An agent cannot do this step.
3. The API key goes into the MCP client or the REST call as a bearer token.
Fits: people who want a hosted Tiqets server that someone else maintains, including non-developers.
Policy: Cotlet never stores passwords, never solves CAPTCHAs, never bypasses MFA.
Company: legal details in the Terms of service at https://cotlet.dev/terms. Contact contact@cotlet.dev.
Session: the user signs in to Tiqets in a browser; Cotlet keeps only the session, AES-256 encrypted, revocable in the dashboard at any time.
Terms: the user stays responsible for following Tiqets's terms; Cotlet is not affiliated with Tiqets.
## What can an AI agent do in Tiqets?
Cotlet is best for travelers and trip planners who book attractions on Tiqets and want an AI agent to search, track bookings and cancel without running or fixing a server.
- **[Find attraction tickets for a date and timeslot](https://cotlet.dev/integrations/tiqets-api-mcp-server/find-attraction-tickets)**: "Find Vatican Museums tickets on Tiqets for 2 adults on 18 or 19 Oct, entry before noon, with free cancellation, and give me the checkout link for the cheapest option." → `search_experiences`, `get_experience`, `check_availability`, `start_checkout`
- **List upcoming bookings and cancellation deadlines** (runs: weekly): "Which of my upcoming Tiqets bookings can I still cancel, and until when?" → `list_bookings`, `get_booking`
- **Download e-tickets for a trip**: "Save all e-tickets for my Paris trip next week to ~/trip/tickets." → `list_bookings`, `download_tickets`
- **[Cancel a booking before the free cancellation deadline](https://cotlet.dev/integrations/tiqets-api-mcp-server/cancel-booking)**: "The Barcelona trip is off. Cancel every Tiqets booking for 23 to 26 Oct that still has free cancellation, and tell me which ones I cannot cancel myself." → `list_bookings`, `get_booking`, `cancel_booking`
- **[Reschedule a booking to another date or timeslot](https://cotlet.dev/integrations/tiqets-api-mcp-server/reschedule-booking)**: "Move my Louvre booking to Saturday afternoon if Tiqets offers rescheduling and a slot is free; if not, tell me what cancelling and rebooking would cost." → `list_bookings`, `get_booking`, `check_availability`, `reschedule_booking`
## Can Tiqets automations run on a schedule in n8n, Make or Zapier?
Yes. Cotlet does not replace your automation platform: it gives it a Tiqets connection it does not have, with the same API key as your agent. Write actions ask for your OK by default; switch that off in your dashboard for the tools you choose, for example to list upcoming bookings and cancellation deadlines, and the schedule runs on its own. Cotlet runs in the cloud, so it keeps going while your computer is off.
| Where | How to connect | How to schedule |
|---|---|---|
| Your AI agent | Add https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1 with your API key. | A scheduled agent run, for example a Claude Code routine. |
| n8n | MCP Client node with https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1, or an HTTP Request node to https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/tiqets/{tool}. | Schedule Trigger node. |
| Make | HTTP module: POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/tiqets/{tool} with an Authorization: Bearer header and a JSON body. | Scenario schedule. |
| Zapier | Webhooks by Zapier: POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/tiqets/{tool} with the same header and body. | Schedule by Zapier trigger. |
| Your own script | POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/tiqets/{tool} with your API key. | cron or GitHub Actions. |
## Tools
**For AI agents:** Every endpoint and its schema is public. The 9 endpoints on this page, with parameters and example responses, can be listed without an account. Calling one returns 403 until the account has an API key with access to Tiqets.
### search_experiences
Attractions, museums and tours on Tiqets by text and city, with price from. Access: read. REST: `POST /api/v1/tiqets/search_experiences`.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `query` | string | yes | What to look for, e.g. "Vatican" or "boat tour". |
| `city` | string | no | City name to narrow the results. |
| `limit` | integer | no | 1 to 50. Default: 20. |
Returns matching products, best match first, with the product ID, city and the lowest price shown. Use product_id in get_experience and check_availability. Pages hold up to 50 results.
Example response:
```json
{
  "results": [
    {
      "product_id": "1089412",
      "title": "Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel: Skip-the-Line Ticket",
      "city": "Rome",
      "price_from": {
        "amount": 32,
        "currency": "EUR"
      },
      "url": "https://www.tiqets.com/en/rome-attractions-c71/vatican-museums-p1089412/"
    }
  ]
}
```
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `product_id` | string | yes | Product ID from search_experiences. |
Returns the details Tiqets shows on the product page. Cancellation terms tell your agent whether free cancellation is on offer before you book.
Example response:
```json
{
  "product_id": "1089412",
  "title": "Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel: Skip-the-Line Ticket",
  "city": "Rome",
  "includes": [
    "Entry to the Vatican Museums",
    "Entry to the Sistine Chapel"
  ],
  "free_cancellation": "Until 23:59 the day before the visit"
}
```
### check_availability
Ticket types, timeslots and prices for a product on a date. Access: read. REST: `POST /api/v1/tiqets/check_availability`.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `product_id` | string | yes | Product ID from search_experiences. |
| `date` | date | yes | Visit date. |
Returns what Tiqets shows for that product on that day: ticket types with prices and, for timed products, the free timeslots in order. An empty list means nothing is available that day. Pass a ticket type ID to start_checkout.
Example response:
```json
{
  "product_id": "1089412",
  "date": "2026-10-18",
  "timeslots": [
    {
      "time": "09:00",
      "available": true
    },

      "label": "Adult",
      "price": {
        "amount": 32,
        "currency": "EUR"
      }
    }
  ]
}
```
### list_bookings
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `when` | enum | no | upcoming, past or all. Default: upcoming. |
Lists the bookings of the signed-in account, soonest visit first. Use order_id in get_booking, download_tickets and cancel_booking.
Example response:
```json

    {
      "order_id": "71204583",
      "product": "Sagrada Familia: Fast Track Ticket",
      "visit_date": "2026-10-24",
      "tickets": 2,
      "status": "confirmed"
    }
  ]
}
```
### get_booking
One booking: tickets, price paid and whether it can be cancelled or rescheduled. Access: read. REST: `POST /api/v1/tiqets/get_booking`.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `order_id` | string | yes | Order ID from list_bookings. |
Returns the order as the account shows it: product, visit date, tickets, price paid and whether cancelling or rescheduling is on offer. Check it before cancel_booking or reschedule_booking.
Example response:
```json
{
  "order_id": "71204583",
  "product": "Sagrada Familia: Fast Track Ticket",
  "visit_date": "2026-10-24",
  "tickets": [
    {
      "type": "Adult",
      "quantity": 2
    }
  ],
  "total_paid": {
    "amount": 66,

  "can_cancel": true,
  "can_reschedule": true
}
```
### download_tickets
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `order_id` | string | yes | Order ID from list_bookings. |
Returns links to the ticket files of the order, in the format Tiqets provides for that product. Links are for you only; do not share them.
Example response:
```json
{
  "order_id": "71204583",
  "files": [
    {
      "name": "sagrada-familia-ticket-1.pdf",
      "url": "https://example-download.invalid/t/71204583-1"
    }
  ]
}
```
### start_checkout
Fill the order and return the Tiqets checkout link. Nothing is charged until you pay there yourself. Access: write. REST: `POST /api/v1/tiqets/start_checkout`.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `product_id` | string | yes | Product ID from search_experiences. |
| `date` | date | yes | Visit date. |
| `timeslot` | string | no | Start time from check_availability, for timed products. |
| `tickets` | object | yes | Ticket type ID to quantity, e.g. {"adult": 2}. |
Prepares an order for the product, date and tickets and returns the Tiqets checkout link. It does not pay and charges nothing. It reaches no one, so it runs without asking; you finish the payment on Tiqets.
Example response:
```json
{
  "product_id": "1089412",
  "date": "2026-10-18",
  "timeslot": "09:00",
  "tickets": {
    "adult": 2
  },
  "total": {
    "amount": 64,
    "currency": "EUR"
  },
  "checkout_url": "https://example-checkout.invalid/c/9f3a"
}
```
### reschedule_booking
Move a booking to another date or timeslot, where Tiqets offers rescheduling. Access: write, asks the user first. REST: `POST /api/v1/tiqets/reschedule_booking`.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `order_id` | string | yes | Order ID from list_bookings. |
| `date` | date | yes | New visit date. |
| `timeslot` | string | no | New start time, for timed products. |
Changes the visit date or timeslot of one order, only for products where Tiqets offers it; get_booking says so. It changes your booking with the vendor. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.
Example response:
```json
{
  "order_id": "71204583",
  "status": "rescheduled",
  "visit_date": "2026-10-24",
  "timeslot": "14:00"
}
```
### cancel_booking
Cancel a whole booking, where Tiqets allows it. Access: write, asks the user first. REST: `POST /api/v1/tiqets/cancel_booking`.
| Parameter | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `order_id` | string | yes | Order ID from list_bookings. |
Cancels one whole order; partial cancellation is not offered. Free cancellation applies only if you chose it at booking, and runs until 23:59 on the day before the visit. Check get_booking first. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.
Example response:
```json
{
  "order_id": "71204583",
  "status": "cancelled",
  "product": "Sagrada Familia: Fast Track Ticket",
  "visit_date": "2026-10-24",
  "refund": {
    "amount": 66,
    "currency": "EUR"
  }
}
```
## How do I connect Tiqets to Claude Code, Codex or Cursor?
Connecting Tiqets takes three steps: request access, sign in to Tiqets once, then add one MCP server or call the REST API with the same key.
### Connect Tiqets to your agent.
1. **Create an account** Sign up and add Tiqets in the console. Your API key is there too.
2. **Sign in to Tiqets once** Open the connect page from the console and sign in to Tiqets the way you always do. We keep the session, never your password, and you can revoke it anytime.
3. **Add Cotlet to your agent** Paste the snippet for your client. The same server and key serve every app you connect, so you do this once.
   Claude Code:
```
claude mcp add --transport http cotlet \
  https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1 \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $COTLET_API_KEY"
```
   Cursor:
```
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "cotlet": {
      "url": "https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer ${COTLET_API_KEY}"
      }
    }
  }
}
```
   Codex:
```
# ~/.codex/config.toml
[mcp_servers.cotlet]
url = "https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1"
bearer_token_env_var = "COTLET_API_KEY"
```
4. **Ask your agent** Ask in plain words. Your agent finds the Tiqets tools on the server and calls them for you; anything that reaches other people waits for your OK unless you switch that off for a tool.
```
Find Vatican Museums tickets on Tiqets for 2 adults on 18 or 19 Oct, entry before noon, with free cancellation, and give me the checkout link for the cheapest option.
```
### Call Tiqets from your scripts.
1. **Export your API key** Your scripts use the same API key as your agent. Keep it in an environment variable, never in your code.
```
export COTLET_API_KEY="cotlet_..."
```
2. **Call a tool** Every tool is a POST endpoint at /api/v1/tiqets/{tool}. Send its parameters as JSON, exactly as listed in the endpoints above.
```
curl https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/tiqets/cancel_booking \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $COTLET_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"order_id":"71204583"}'
```
3. **Read the result** You get plain JSON back, ready for your script. A failed call costs nothing.
```
{
  "order_id": "71204583",
  "status": "cancelled",
  "product": "Sagrada Familia: Fast Track Ticket",
  "visit_date": "2026-10-24",
  "refund": {
    "amount": 66,
    "currency": "EUR"
  }
}
```
## Why use Cotlet for Tiqets?
**Built for agents**
- One MCP server for every app you connect.
- The same tools as a REST API for scripts and cron jobs.
- Works with Claude Code, Codex and Cursor.
**Your login stays yours**
- You sign in to Tiqets yourself. We keep only the session, encrypted with AES-256.
- The model never sees a login.
- No stored passwords, no CAPTCHA solving, no MFA bypass.
**You stay in control**
- Pick read only, or read and write.
- Anything that reaches other people waits for your OK, unless you switch it off per tool.
- Revoke access in one click.
**Kept working for you**
- We test every integration daily.
- When Tiqets changes, the tool pauses until we fix it.
- Failed calls cost nothing.
## Is there a Tiqets MCP server on GitHub?
No Tiqets MCP server turned up on GitHub (checked 11 Oct 2026). Without Cotlet you search, check dates and open each booking in the Tiqets site or app by hand.
|  | By hand | Cotlet |
|---|---|---|
| Setup | Nothing to set up | Request access, sign in to Tiqets once, add one MCP server or API key |
| Searching several dates | Open each product and date in turn | Your agent checks dates and timeslots in one request |
| Your bookings | Open each order in your account or the confirmation email | One call lists them with visit date and status |
| When Tiqets changes | Nothing breaks, you follow the new screens | Our team tests it daily and fixes it for you; failed calls are free |
| Your Tiqets session | Your browser | Encrypted in an EU vault, limited to the actions you allow, revoked in one click |
| Where it runs | Your phone or browser, when you remember | Hosted: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, n8n and scripts, also on a schedule |
| Price | Free, paid for with your time | Free 7-day trial with 5,000 credits, then credits per call |
### Which one fits you
**Pick Cotlet if**
- you are not a developer, or you do not want to maintain a server
- you need it to keep working when Tiqets changes, without checking it yourself
- your agent or a script should run it on a schedule, also while your computer is off
**Pick an open-source server if**
- you are comfortable installing, updating and fixing it yourself
- you want the session to stay on your own computer
- you only need it now and then, from one MCP client
## How much does the Tiqets API cost?
Free 7-day trial with 5,000 credits, no card needed. After that, the Tiqets API comes with the Cotlet plan, from $29 a month for 3,000 credits, with no limit on apps. Each month's credits stay valid for 3 months, so unused credits add up.
| Size | Price | Credits / month | Per credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | $29/mo | 3,000 | about $0.0097 |
| Pro | $99/mo | 12,000 | about $0.0083 |
| Agency | $299/mo | 40,000 | $0.0075 |
Each successful call uses credits for the work it takes; failed calls and timeouts cost nothing. A hard spend cap is on by default. Authenticate with the `Authorization: Bearer` header. [See full pricing](https://cotlet.dev/pricing)
## How Cotlet holds your access
Cotlet hosts MCP servers and REST APIs for apps with no usable API. Your agent works in your own Tiqets account.
- **Company details:** The legal name, address and registration numbers of the company behind Cotlet are in the Terms of service. [Terms](https://cotlet.dev/terms)
- **Your session:** You sign in to Tiqets yourself, in your browser. We keep only the session, never your password: encrypted with AES-256 in an EU vault, isolated to your account and used only when your agent calls a Tiqets tool you allowed. When it expires, your agent gives you a link to sign in again. [Security](https://cotlet.dev/security)
- **Revoking access:** Disconnect Tiqets in your dashboard: the session is deleted and access ends at once. Actions that reach other people wait for your OK unless you switch that off per tool.
- **What we never do:** Store passwords, solve CAPTCHAs or bypass MFA.
- **Tiqets's terms:** You use your own Tiqets account and stay responsible for following Tiqets's terms. Cotlet is independent and not affiliated with Tiqets. [Terms](https://cotlet.dev/terms)
- **Contact:** Questions about the company, security or an app: [contact@cotlet.dev](mailto:contact@cotlet.dev)
## Frequently asked questions
**How do I get access?**
Request access and pick Tiqets. Cotlet reviews each request and emails you your API key.
**Do I need to be technical?**
No. You sign in to Tiqets once in your browser and paste one command into your agent, or one URL into n8n. Your agent can walk you through it. There is no server to install, update or fix.
**Is a hosted server safe? My Tiqets session would leave my computer.**
Cotlet keeps your Tiqets session encrypted with AES-256 in an EU vault, isolated to your account and used only for the tools you allow: read only, or read and write. The AI model never sees it, and you revoke it in one click. A local server keeps the same session in a file on your computer, readable by any program you run, and needs a fresh sign-in whenever it expires.
**Can my agent pay for tickets?**
No. start_checkout returns the Tiqets checkout link and charges nothing; you pay on Tiqets yourself.
**Can I get a Tiqets API key as a customer?**
No. The Tiqets API is for distribution partners, and Tiqets considers around 200 orders a month the minimum for the Booking API (checked 11 Oct 2026).
**Can my agent post or send messages in Tiqets without asking me?**
No. Every call to reschedule_booking or cancel_booking waits for your OK by default. For scheduled automations you can switch confirmation off per tool in your dashboard, for example only for approvals. start_checkout runs without asking, because it sends nothing to anyone and one call undoes it.
**Can I use the Tiqets API in n8n?**
Yes. Add https://cotlet.dev/mcp/v1 with your API key in n8n's MCP Client node, or call https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/tiqets/{tool} from the HTTP Request node.
