# Follow up with Trainerize clients who stopped logging body stats

> Trainerize reminders fire every week, logged or not. Your agent finds clients whose last weigh-in is old and drafts a personal nudge for each.

Source: https://cotlet.dev/integrations/trainerize-api-mcp-server/remind-clients-to-log-body-stats

The weekly Body Stats reminder sits on every client calendar, yet on Monday you still do not know who skipped it. Finding the clients who quietly stopped weighing in means opening progress charts one profile at a time.

Cotlet does it in your own Trainerize account with list\_clients, get\_body\_stats, list\_conversations and send\_message, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Trainerize do this on its own?

Trainerize schedules repeating Body Stats reminders on a client calendar and charts logged stats per client in the Insights Dashboard (checked 12 Oct 2026). Its auto client tags flag low workout and nutrition compliance, not missed body stats, so nothing lists the clients who skipped. The API can read body stats only on Studio and Enterprise plans or with the FitMetrics add-on, and only 180 days back. Zapier has no body stats trigger or action.

By hand

## How you do it in Trainerize today

1. Schedule the reminder first: in the Trainerize web account open the client, go to the Calendar tab, click a date, select Body Stats, click Add and set it to repeat.
2. On the scheduled day the client sees the Body Stats reminder on the dashboard and enters weight and measurements from there.
3. To see who actually logged, open each client's Progress tab > Insights Dashboard and read the Body Weight widget, or look for an unfilled reminder on the Calendar tab.
4. Write to every client who skipped in the Messages tab, one conversation at a time.
5. The reminder repeats whether or not the client logged the week before, and no Trainerize auto client tag covers body stats. A client who stopped weighing in a month ago looks like everyone else on the client list.

With an agent

## How to follow up with Trainerize clients who stopped logging body stats

Prompt

```
Find my full-access clients whose last body stats entry is more than two weeks old and draft a short check-in message for each. Leave out anyone who told me they are sick or traveling.
```

1. 01
### Decide who should be logging
The agent starts from full-access clients in list\_clients and leaves out offline, basic and prospect clients unless you ask for them. If you keep a tag such as "No scale" for clients you measure in person, those are skipped too.
2. 02
### Find the last entry, not the last reminder
For each client get\_body\_stats looks back eight weeks. A client whose newest entry is older than your threshold, two weeks unless you say otherwise, goes on the follow-up list. A client with no entry at all in eight weeks is listed apart, because the reminder was probably never scheduled.
3. 03
### Read the room before nudging
list\_conversations shows the latest message with each client on the list. If the client wrote that they are ill, injured, traveling or pausing, the agent drops them from this week's run and says why, so nobody gets a weigh-in prompt the day after a bad news message.
4. 04
### Match the tone to the gap
Two or three weeks gets a light one-line nudge. Six weeks or more gets a question about what got in the way instead of a reminder. Drafts never quote the client's last weight or compare numbers, since that belongs in a conversation you lead.
5. 05
### Send what you approve
Each draft waits for your OK and goes out with send\_message under your name. Replies land in your Trainerize inbox, where the reply-drafting job can pick them up.

### What you get back

Example data

```
31 full-access clients checked, last 8 weeks
Up to date: 22
Follow-up drafted: Alex Rivera (16 days), Priya Shah (19 days), Tom Becker (24 days)
Asked what got in the way: Dana Wolfe (47 days)
Skipped: Sam Carter wrote on 9 Oct that he has the flu
No entry in 8 weeks, check the reminder is scheduled: Lena Ortiz, Marco Ruiz
4 messages waiting for your OK
```

### Other ways to ask

- Every Monday at 7 am, list clients with no body stats in 10 days. Do not message anyone, just give me the names.
- Only check clients tagged "Fat loss" and use a one-week threshold, since they weigh in weekly.
- Which clients have never logged body stats since they joined? I probably forgot to schedule their reminder.
- Draft follow-ups only for clients who also have not messaged me in two weeks.

Before you automate it

## What Trainerize allows, and what to know first

- Trainerize allows only one body stats entry per client per calendar day.
- A coach can type in body stats for a Trainerize client on the web only through a reminder already scheduled on that client's calendar (Calendar tab > reminder > Enter Stats).
- Deleting a body stat on a Trainerize calendar removes it from the client's progress history for good; scheduled reminders can be removed in bulk with the clear calendar tool.
- Trainerize notifies a client about every item scheduled on the calendar, body stats reminders included, once the client turns on the Daily Reminder notification in the mobile app's notification settings.
- The Body Weight widget on the Trainerize Insights Dashboard also plots a Weekly Body Weight Average, and its custom date ranges (2023 or later) work on the web, not in the mobile app.

send\_message asks for your OK by default. To run it weekly without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
