# Schedule a batch of Uscreen video releases

> Uscreen schedules videos one at a time. An agent sets release dates, the catalog teaser and member emails for a whole batch in your store time zone.

You recorded a month of lessons in one sitting and uploaded them together. Uscreen makes you open each video, set Visibility to Scheduled and pick a date, so the release calendar gets built one edit page at a time.

Cotlet does it in your own Uscreen account with list\_videos, get\_video, update\_video and publish\_video, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

## Can Uscreen do this on its own?

Uscreen has no bulk scheduling: its help center says each video must be scheduled individually, and the bulk action on the Videos page only publishes or unpublishes up to 50 selected videos (checked 12 Oct 2026). The Uscreen MCP (beta) publishes or unpublishes content but lists no release date, and the Publisher API only reads videos (checked 11 Oct 2026).

By hand

## How you do it in Uscreen today

1. Open Content > Videos in the Uscreen admin and click into the first video of the batch.
2. In the Visibility section, choose Scheduled and pick the release date and time in the datepicker; Uscreen reads that time in the store time zone from Settings > General.
3. Tick Send Email to Customers if every member with access should get a broadcast on release, and leave the catalog teaser checkbox below it on (the default) so members see the thumbnail and a Notify Me button until then.
4. Check that the video has a category, because a scheduled Uscreen video without one never shows as upcoming in the catalog, then click Save Changes.
5. Go back to the Videos list and repeat for the next video. The Uscreen bulk action publishes or unpublishes up to 50 videos at once but cannot schedule, so a weekly series means one edit page per lesson and a calendar kept in your head.

With an agent

## How to schedule a batch of Uscreen video releases

Prompt

```
Schedule the six unpublished Strength Block videos for every Monday at 7:00 starting 2 November, keep them visible as upcoming in the catalog and email members on each release.
```

1. 01
### Turn the rule into dates
The agent expands "every Monday at 7:00 from 2 November" into one date per video in your store time zone. A start date that has already gone by makes the agent ask for a new one instead of shifting the series by itself.
2. 02
### Pick the videos and keep the order
list\_videos with status unpublished and a title search returns the batch, sorted by the lesson number in each title. Videos that are already published or scheduled are listed and left alone; the agent never moves a date you set earlier unless you ask.
3. 03
### Make sure each release will be seen
get\_video shows the category of every video. One without a category would release without appearing in the catalog, so the agent adds the category you named with update\_video or stops and asks which one to use. A video still processing close to its date is flagged, since Uscreen keeps it out of the catalog until processing ends.
4. 04
### Settle the email question once
Each release with send\_email sends its own broadcast to every member with access. The agent asks once whether the whole batch should email members, then applies the same answer to every video so the series does not end up half announced.
5. 05
### Schedule and report the calendar
publish\_video runs once per video, each call waiting for your OK unless you switched confirmation off for that tool. The run ends with the full calendar, so you can compare it with your content plan before the first Monday.

### What you get back

Example data

```
Scheduled 6 Strength Block videos, Mondays at 7:00 (store time zone America/New_York).
2 Nov: Strength 1: Squat Basics. 9 Nov: Strength 2: Hinge. 16 Nov: Strength 3: Push.
23 Nov: Strength 4: Pull. 30 Nov: Strength 5: Carry. 7 Dec: Strength 6: Full Session.
Catalog teaser on, member email on for all six.
Added category Strength to "Strength 4: Pull", which had none.
Already scheduled, not changed: "Strength Intro" on 26 Oct.
```

### Other ways to ask

- Release the eight Pilates Core videos every weekday at 6:00 from next Monday, without member emails.
- Schedule all unpublished videos tagged beginner for the first of each month, one per month, in title order.
- Every Friday, check next week's scheduled releases and tell me which ones still have no category.
- Move the remaining Strength Block releases one week later, starting with Strength 4.

Before you automate it

## What Uscreen allows, and what to know first

- Uscreen releases a scheduled video at the time set in the store time zone under Settings > General, whatever time zone the admin works in.
- Uscreen shows the upcoming-release label of a scheduled video on the web and in the iOS and Android apps from version 3.33.0; Uscreen TV apps do not show it yet.
- Send Email to Customers in Uscreen is a broadcast to every member with access, while Notify Me only alerts members and signed-out visitors who clicked it.
- Uscreen takes 10 minutes to 72 business hours to process a video, and a scheduled video stays out of the catalog until processing finishes, even past its release time.
- A Uscreen category row stays hidden on the storefront until it holds at least one published video, so a new category filled only with scheduled lessons shows nothing before the first release.

publish\_video asks for your OK by default. To run it weekly without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can the agent also set an end date for each video?

No, Cotlet has no tool for expiration dates. In Uscreen you click Add expiration date in the Visibility card of each video; the video is unpublished between 12:00 and 12:10 AM UTC on that date, and it stays playable inside any collection that still holds it.
