Idealista automation
Lower an Idealista listing price with an AI agent
The owner agrees to a lower price on the phone, or the weekly review says three flats are overpriced. Someone then has to open each ad in Idealista, find the price field and retype the number without a typo.
Cotlet does it in your own Idealista account with list_listings, get_listing and update_listing, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Can Idealista do this on its own?
Idealista gives advertisers no API to change a listing (checked 12 Oct 2026). Agencies can push prices from a CRM that has an approved Idealista feed; private advertisers edit each ad by hand. Idealista itself rewards a cut by highlighting the ad for free, but it does not apply a planned price change for you.
By hand
How you do it in Idealista today
- Click Iniciar sesión on idealista.com, sign in with your email and password and open Tus anuncios in the header.
- Open the ad from Tus anuncios, change the price in the ad data and save.
- Repeat for every listing on the list. A typo in the price is public at once, and under the rules Idealista announced for its price-drop highlight, a cut that does not go below the lowest price the ad ever had is not highlighted.

How to lower an Idealista listing price with an AI agent
Prompt
Lower the Valencia apartment on Idealista from 259,000 to 245,000 EUR, check the new price is live and tell me its quality score. - 01
Match the ad and read the current price
The agent finds the listing by address or reference with list_listings, then reads it with get_listing. An inactive ad, or two ads for the same property (sale and rent), stops the run with a question.
- 02
Check the cut makes sense
The agent compares the new figure with the current one and shows the drop in euros and percent. A new price that is equal or higher, or a drop over 20% that might be a typo, is flagged before anything changes.
- 03
Change only the price, after your OK
update_listing receives the price alone, so description, size and features stay exactly as they are. If you publish through a CRM feed, the agent reminds you to change the price there too, since the feed is your source for that ad.
- 04
Confirm it is live
A second get_listing reads the ad back and compares the saved price with the one you asked for. The report includes the public URL and the quality score after the change.
- 05
Work through a list
Given several ads from a sheet or from the visits-without-contacts report, the agent handles them one at a time and stops at the first mismatch instead of guessing the rest.
What you get back
Example data
Valencia apartment (108274575): 259,000 EUR to 245,000 EUR, down 14,000 EUR (5.4%).
Saved after your OK at 18:20 and checked live: https://www.idealista.com/inmueble/108274575/
Quality score 82, unchanged.
Not changed: Ruzafa 2-bed, the new price you gave (198,000 EUR) is higher than the current 189,000 EUR. Other ways to ask
- Lower every rental in my Idealista sheet by the amounts in column C and tell me which ones failed.
- Cut the Lavapiés studio by 5% and round to the nearest 10 EUR.
- Take the three listings flagged in this week's visits report down by 3% each, but ask me about each one first.
Before you automate it
What Idealista allows, and what to know first
- Idealista highlights a listing that comes down in price automatically and free of charge for a month.
- Idealista's 2010 launch post for price-drop highlights says the ad shows the cut in euros and as a percentage, and only the last cut made within the past month.
- The same Idealista post says the new price must be below the lowest price the listing ever had, so raising the price and lowering it back to the old level earns no highlight.
- Idealista's launch post also says a price cut improves the listing's position in search results.
update_listing asks for your OK by default. To run it on a schedule without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
