What you may automate
- Your own accounts in apps you use.
- Accounts of an organization or person who authorized you to act for them.
- Only the actions you allowed when you connected the app.
Acceptable use policy
This policy is part of our terms of service. It applies to every account and every call.
What is not allowed
- Accessing an account you are not authorized to use, or exceeding the access you were given.
- Spam: bulk or unsolicited messages, posts, invitations or comments.
- Harassment, threats, impersonation or misleading people about who is acting.
- Collecting other people's personal data at scale, or processing sensitive data without a legal basis.
- Defeating security measures: CAPTCHAs, multi-factor authentication, rate limits, bans or blocks.
- Fraud, illegal content, malware, or infringing intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Overloading an app or our infrastructure, or probing them for weaknesses.
- Reselling or sharing access to Cotlet without our written agreement.
What we refuse to build or run
- CAPTCHA solving or MFA bypass.
- Banking and payment accounts without the required licence.
- Apps whose terms you accepted forbid automation, or that told us to stop.
- Continuing an integration after a cease-and-desist from the app's provider.
- Keeping your app data longer than the call that needs it.
Your responsibilities
- You keep the right to act in every account you connect.
- You follow the terms of each app and the law that applies to you.
- You review what your AI agent does, and keep confirmation on for actions that reach other people.
- You stop when the app's provider or we ask you to.
What happens on a violation
- We may pause the affected integration or API key, and tell you why.
- Serious or repeated abuse ends the account, as our terms of service describe.
- Where the law requires, we report illegal activity to the authorities.
