Meevo automation · runs daily
Get the Meevo Register Summary for every location each night
After close, the owner of two or three salons wants one number per location: sales, card versus cash, deposits. In Meevo that means running MR080 and copying totals out of a PDF or spreadsheet.
Cotlet does it in your own Meevo account with list_locations and get_register_summary, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Can Meevo do this on its own?
Meevo's Public API has no reports; the Daily Data Stream gives raw sale changes from up to 7 days back, and your code has to total them (checked 12 Oct 2026). In the app, MR080 runs on demand as PDF, HTML or XLSX; the help page describes no email or scheduled delivery (checked 12 Oct 2026).
By hand
How you do it in Meevo today
- At each location the closing staff close every open drawer in Meevo > Register > Drawer Manager: Close Drawer, count Cash in Drawer, enter Cash Left in Drawer, Checks and Credit/Debit, then Save or print a Deposit Slip.
- Run the report: type MR080 in the Convobar or go to Meevo > Reports > Register/Sales, pick Yesterday or a Custom date, select Full Day and leave All Drawers on.
- Choose PDF, HTML or XLSX beside Run Report; Meevo warns that a report can take a few minutes to generate.
- Copy Sales Summary, Payment Types and Cash Summary totals into a message or spreadsheet. The MR080 setup options are dates, times and drawers; the help page names no location filter.
- Nothing in the MR080 help page sends the report on a schedule, so a short drawer or a missing close shows up only when someone opens the PDF.
With an agent
How to get the Meevo Register Summary for every location each night
Prompt
Every night at 9, send me the Register Summary for both salons in one message, with each location against the same weekday last week, and flag anything that does not add up. - 01
Run after the last drawer closes
The schedule sits after closing time, in each location's own time zone from list_locations. A location that closes late on Thursdays gets its own later run instead of a half-day summary.
- 02
One call per location, one business day
The agent calls get_register_summary for every location your login reaches, then again for the same weekday a week earlier, so a Saturday is compared with a Saturday and not with a quiet Monday.
- 03
Check that the numbers close
Sales by type must add up to the total, and payments must add up to the same total. A gap means a transaction was edited after close or a drawer is still open, and the agent reports the gap instead of a clean total.
- 04
Flag what an owner would ask about
The agent marks a location with zero sales on a day it was open, returns above zero, deposits that differ from cash taken, and a change of more than the threshold you set against last week.
- 05
Send one message, not one per salon
Locations come in a fixed order with a combined total at the top and the currency stated, so the message reads the same every night and a missing location stands out.
What you get back
Example data
Meevo, Fri 10 Oct, vs Fri 3 Oct
All locations: $6,420 sales (+8%)
Maple Street Salon: $3,850 (+12%), card $3,120, cash $500, gift card $230, deposits $150
Harbor Spa: $2,570 (+2%), card $2,410, cash $160, packages $600 of sales
Flag: Maple Street returns $85 (Thu $0)
Flag: Harbor Spa payments $40 below sales, a drawer may still be open Other ways to ask
- Every Monday at 8, send me last week's Register Summary per location, day by day.
- Only tell me tonight if a location is more than 20 percent down on last week or has any returns.
- Post the nightly Register Summary for all salons to our managers' Slack channel.
Before you automate it
What Meevo allows, and what to know first
- Meevo recommends running MR080 at the end of each business day to help close the register.
- Meevo says every open drawer should be closed at the end of the business day and balanced at each close, and suggests requiring a closing note when a drawer does not balance.
- The MR080 Payment Types section shows Actual, Calculated and Over/(Short) amounts for each payment type; itemized payments are in the separate MR110 Payment Detail report.
- The Surcharges section of MR080 appears only for MeevoPay merchant accounts.
- When transactions happen while the Close Drawer screen is open, Meevo updates the Expected amount on save and shows a message, so the actual counts may need to be entered again.
Every tool here only reads, so it can run daily from n8n, Make, Zapier or cron without waiting for your OK.
