Export Patreon members to CSV on a schedule
Your newsletter list lives outside Patreon, and since Mailchimp dropped its Patreon integration the way to keep it current is a fresh CSV from the Relationship manager. You download it by hand, usually right after someone asks why they got no email.
Cotlet does it in your own Patreon account with list_tiers, export_members and list_members, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Can Patreon do this on its own?
Patreon exports members through the CSV button in the Relationship manager, which applies whatever filters are set (checked 12 Oct 2026). Mailchimp no longer supports its Patreon integration, and Patreon points creators to export and upload, or to Zapier, whose Patreon triggers fire on new, updated or deleted members but never produce a full list. API v2 can page through members, with email behind the campaigns.members[email] scope, but that means registering your own API client and building the CSV yourself.
By hand
How you do it in Patreon today
- In Creator studio, click Audience to land on the Patreon Relationship manager.
- Use the quick filters (Paid members, Free members, Active, Canceled, Payment declined, New this month) or click Filters for tier, join date or charge frequency.
- Click the table settings icon in the right corner of the Relationship manager to choose columns such as Email, Current Tier, Discord and Address.
- Click the CSV button at the top of the page; the file holds everyone who matches the filters, with no need to tick checkboxes.
- Upload the file to the mailing tool and remove last week's leavers by hand. Export, upload and cleanup repeat every week, and members who canceled stay subscribed until someone notices.
With an agent
How to export Patreon members to CSV on a schedule
Prompt
Every Monday, export my active paid members with tier and email to CSV and tell me who is new and who canceled since last week. - 01
Fix the scope once
list_tiers names the tiers, and you choose paid or free, active or canceled. The agent keeps that as the definition of the run, so every Monday's file covers the same members.
- 02
Export and compare with last week
export_members returns this week's file. The agent compares it with the previous run and lists who is new, who moved tier and who dropped out, which is what a mailing list actually needs.
- 03
Name the leavers
When the active count falls, list_members with status canceled shows who those members are, so you see names and tiers, not just a shorter file.
- 04
Flag rows a mailing tool will reject
Rows without an email are counted and listed, never dropped quietly. The same address on two rows is reported once.
- 05
Deliver where you work
The download link comes to you, or an n8n or Make step passes the file to your mailing tool or spreadsheet. The run reads Patreon and changes nothing there.
What you get back
Example data
Patreon members on 12 Oct 2026: 214 active paid in 3 tiers.
New since 5 Oct: 9 (6 Supporter, 3 Gold).
Canceled since 5 Oct: 4, including Leo Marsh (Gold), whose access ended 9 Oct.
Moved tier: 2 from Supporter to Gold.
No email shared: 7 members, listed in a separate file.
File: patreon-members-2026-10-12.csv, 214 rows. Other ways to ask
- Every Monday, export active paid members with email and tier and send only the new and canceled rows to my n8n webhook.
- Export only my free members to CSV for the newsletter welcome sequence.
- Give me a CSV of canceled Gold members so I can send a win-back email.
Before you automate it
What Patreon allows, and what to know first
- Patreon fans can stop sharing their email with a creator under Settings > Privacy, so some CSV rows arrive without an address; after the change the address stays visible for a buffer period for benefit delivery.
- If you offer annual memberships, Patreon adds a Charge frequency column to the CSV, and the Last charge date of an annual member is the date the membership started.
- Patreon's Cancel Date column is the last day of access, not the day the member clicked cancel, and the member shows as Canceled only from that date.
- Patreon's Lifetime amount can lag behind, especially during billing on the 1st of each month, so a CSV pulled on the 1st may undercount it.
- Patreon hides name and email for members you blocked, members removed for breaking its Terms of Use and members who asked for removal under GDPR.
Every tool here only reads, so it can run weekly from n8n, Make, Zapier or cron without waiting for your OK.
