Triage the Sendible Priority Inbox with AI
Comments on a client's Facebook Page and Instagram posts pile up in the Priority Inbox overnight, and someone has to read each one, decide if it needs a person and reply from the Compose Box.
Cotlet does it in your own Sendible account with list_workspaces, list_inbox_messages, reply_to_message and archive_inbox_messages, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Can Sendible do this on its own?
Sendible offers the Priority Inbox only in its dashboard (checked 20 Oct 2026). Its Zapier app has four actions, all writes to posts, and no trigger that reads a comment or message, so nothing outside the dashboard can read or answer the inbox.
How you do it in Sendible today
- Open Activity > Priority Inbox. It lists comments, replies and direct messages from every profile with alerts turned on, with a coloured dot for sentiment: green positive, grey neutral, red negative.
- Filter the list by social profile or date, or search for words in the message body.
- Click the left-facing arrow on a message. The Compose Box opens for the reply, and the reply can go for approval instead of straight out.
- Click the three dots on a message to Translate, Archive or Assign it to a teammate as a task. Archived messages stay in the Archived Only view.
- Switch workspace and repeat for every client. A missed morning means unanswered comments, and Sendible pulls comments only for recent posts.
How to triage the Sendible Priority Inbox with AI
Read yesterday's Priority Inbox for the Harbor Dental workspace. Reply to questions about opening hours and booking with our standard answer, archive thank-you comments, and list the rest for me with a reason. - 01
Read the inbox once
Your agent calls list_inbox_messages per workspace with from set to yesterday. Only the networks the Priority Inbox covers appear. X, TikTok, Google Business and Instagram direct messages never do, and the agent says so in the report. Messages from the last hour or two can be missing.
- 02
Do not trust the colour alone
Sendible scores sentiment by counting good and bad words, so "this was not bad at all" can come back red. The agent reads each text and treats the dot as a hint, not a decision.
- 03
Answer the routine ones
reply_to_message sends a reply to questions you gave a standard answer for, such as opening hours or a booking link. Each reply waits for your OK by default. A Facebook private message older than 24 hours cannot be answered, so the agent lists it for you.
- 04
Archive what needs no reply
archive_inbox_messages clears thank-you and emoji-only comments. Archived messages stay in the Archived Only view and come back with restore, so this step does not wait for your OK.
- 05
Leave the people problems to you
Complaints, refund talk, press and anything medical or legal stay in the inbox with a one-line reason. Assigning a message to a teammate as a task stays in the dashboard.
What you get back
Harbor Dental, since yesterday: 15 messages
Replied 6 (opening hours, booking link)
Archived 5 (thanks and emoji only)
Left for you 3:
- Dana Cole: "My crown fell out after the visit" (negative)
Too old to answer 1 (Facebook private message, 31 hours) Other ways to ask
- Every morning, list only negative comments across all my workspaces and do not reply to anything.
- Reply to every question that contains "price" with the link to our price list and archive the rest.
- Show me comments on the October promo post, grouped by sentiment, and draft replies without sending them.
What Sendible allows, and what to know first
- Sendible's Priority Inbox collects Facebook Page comments, replies and direct messages, Facebook Ads comments, Instagram Professional comments, likes and reposts, LinkedIn Company Page replies and YouTube comments.
- Messages from personal LinkedIn profiles, X, Google Business, TikTok, WordPress and Instagram direct messages never reach the Priority Inbox.
- Messages reach the inbox with a delay of 1 to 2 hours, because Sendible scores their sentiment first, and comments are pulled only for recent posts, four days after publication for most accounts.
- Only Facebook allows replies to private messages through its API, and only within 24 hours after the message was sent.
- The inbox shows updates only for profiles where alerts for the Priority Inbox were turned on in the profile's settings.
reply_to_message asks for your OK by default. To run it daily without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
