Use Zoopla Premium Listing credits before they reset
Premium Listings and Weekly Featured Property credits in a Zoopla membership reset on the 1st of the month, and the last week of the month is when a branch finds out it has three unused credits and no time to pick listings.
Cotlet does it in your own Zoopla account with get_upgrade_credits, list_listings, get_listing, upgrade_to_premium and feature_listing, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Can Zoopla do this on its own?
Zoopla has a Premium Listings API that CRMs use to activate Premium Listings, subject to available credits, plus a Featured Properties (weekly) API (checked 12 Oct 2026). Both need development work and API authentication set up in your CRM. In ZooplaPro, the Weekly Featured Property recommendations card appears around the middle of the month with up to 3 listings live for 8 weeks or more with the lowest impressions, but nothing picks Premium Listings for you or warns on the last days of the month.
By hand
How you do it in Zoopla today
- Open Manage performance > Performance overview in ZooplaPro to see the Premium Listings or Weekly Featured property credits left, their expiry date and which properties use them.
- Go to Manage listings > Residential sales listings, tick the properties you want and click Upgrade.
- In the How would you like to upgrade? window click Select upgrade under Premium Listings or Featured Properties (weekly), tick the confirmation box and click Confirm upgrade.
- For a Premium Listing, pick the 2 highlights in the window that follows and click Apply.
- A listing with fewer than 3 images or a Full description under 200 characters is not eligible for Premium, and the last days of the month leave little time to fix the photos.

How to use Zoopla Premium Listing credits before they reset
Prompt
It is the 24th. Check how many Zoopla Premium Listings and Weekly Featured credits I have left this month, and suggest which listings should get them. - 01
Count what expires
get_upgrade_credits shows the credits left of each kind. Pay-as-you-go credits do not expire, so the agent only pushes when a monthly allowance would be lost on the 1st.
- 02
Shortlist listings that qualify
From list_listings the agent takes public listings that are not already Premium. get_listing then checks each one for at least 3 photos and a Full description of 200 characters, and lists the ones that fail with what is missing.
- 03
Match the credit to the listing
New instructions go to Premium, which lasts 12 months. Weekly Featured credits go to older stock that needs a push now, since each one lasts 7 days and cannot be taken back once applied.
- 04
Choose highlights from the property
For each Premium Listing the agent proposes 2 highlights based on the features in the listing (garden, parking, garage) and shows them to you with the upgrade.
- 05
Upgrade with your OK, then recount
upgrade_to_premium and feature_listing each use a credit, so every call waits for your OK. After the run the agent reads the credits again and reports what is left.
What you get back
Example data
Credits this month: Premium Listings 3 left, Weekly Featured 2 left. Both reset on 1 Nov.
Premium proposed: 9 Orchard Close (highlights Large garden, Garage), 5 Ash Grove (Parking, Conservatory).
Not eligible: 12 Bridge Street has 2 photos; add one more to make it Premium.
Weekly Featured proposed: 3 Mill Lane, live 9 weeks, under its similar listings average.
After your OK: 2 Premium Listings and 1 Weekly Featured applied. Left: 1 Premium, 1 Weekly Featured. Other ways to ask
- On the 25th of every month, tell me how many Zoopla credits are still unused and which listings qualify.
- Make every new sales instruction from this week a Premium Listing, if it has the photos and description.
- Use my last Weekly Featured credit on the sales listing with the fewest page views in the last 14 days.
Before you automate it
What Zoopla allows, and what to know first
- Zoopla membership credits for Premium Listings and Weekly Featured Property reset automatically on the 1st of each month and do not roll over; pay-as-you-go credits have no expiry.
- A Zoopla Premium Listing needs at least 3 images and a 200 character Full description, and stays Premium for 12 months or until the listing is removed.
- A Premium Listing shows a Premium badge, a larger main image with up to 3 extra thumbnails and 2 highlights, across all Zoopla brands on desktop and mobile.
- A Weekly Featured Property credit puts the listing at the top of search results for its outcode for 7 days and cannot be reversed or reused once applied.
- When several agents feature listings in the same outcode, Zoopla rotates them and shares the top-of-search impressions equally.
upgrade_to_premium and feature_listing ask for your OK by default. To run it monthly without you, switch confirmation off for those tools in your dashboard.
