Approve or deny time off
Approve or deny a time off request waiting for you.
POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/bamboohr/requests/{request_id}/time-off-request/decide
Approves or denies one request from your inbox. In a multi-level approval workflow the request moves on to the next approver after your approval, and the employee is told only after the last one; a denial ends the process and the employee is told. As an admin who is not the next approver, set override to use Approve Anyway. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| request_id string required | string | Request ID from list_pending_time_off_requests. |
| decision string required | string | 'approve' or 'deny'. |
| override boolean | boolean | true uses Approve Anyway as an admin when you are not the next approver. Default: false. |
