Create a task
Create and publish a Quick Task for one or more users, with a title, optional description and due date.
POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/connecteam/tasks
Creates a single Quick Task like Add Task > Single Task > Publish Task. Connecteam requires a title and an assignee. With several assignees the task is done by them together as a team; set separate_tasks to create one task for each user instead. Assignees can read everything in the task, and it appears in their Quick Tasks. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| title string required | string | Task title. |
| assignee_ids array required | array | User IDs from list_users. |
| description string | string | More detail for the assignees. |
| due_date date | date | Due date, YYYY-MM-DD. |
| separate_tasks boolean | boolean | true creates one task for each assignee. Default: false, one task for the team. |
