Ghost API

14 endpoints for Ghost, each at its own method and path, called with your API key. Open an endpoint for its inputs, examples and response.

Connects with: Your own Ghost Admin staff login on your admin domain. What your agent can do follows your role: Contributors cannot publish, Authors can, Administrators have full permissions. You sign in in your own browser and keep your device verification and email 2FA.

Ghost Endpoints: Read
Endpoint	Description
GET /posts	List posts with their status, tags and publish date.
GET /posts/{post_id}	Read one post with its content, tags, authors and email status.
GET /members	List members, filtered by status, label, signup post, email activity or last visit.
GET /members/{member_id}	Read one member with subscriptions, newsletters and signup source.
GET /newsletters	List the newsletters of the site with their slugs.
GET /tiers	List the free and paid tiers with prices and benefits.
GET /labels	List member labels, with how many members carry each.
GET /tags	List the tags used on posts, with how many posts carry each.

Change the account. Calls marked Confirm wait for the user to approve them.

Ghost Endpoints: Write
Endpoint	Description
POST /draft-posts	Create a post as a draft. Nobody sees it until it is published or scheduled.
PATCH /posts/{post_id} Confirm	Change the title, content, tags, access or excerpt of an existing post.
POST /posts/{post_id}/schedule Confirm	Schedule a draft to publish at a future time, with an optional newsletter send.
POST /posts/{post_id}/publish Confirm	Publish a draft now, with an optional newsletter send.
POST /members/label	Add a label to members, or remove it from them.
POST /members/unsubscribe Confirm	Turn off newsletter emails for the given members.
