Send an invoice

Send a posted invoice to the customer by email, or get it as a download.

POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/odoo/invoices/{invoice_id}/send-invoice

write Confirm

Uses the Send window of the invoice. With email the invoice goes to the contact's email address; with download Cotlet returns the file and nothing is sent. Only posted invoices can be sent. The call fails with a clear error if the contact has no email address. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.

Parameters

Parameters: send_invoice
NameTypeDescription
invoice_id integer required integer Invoice ID from list_invoices or create_draft_invoice.
method enum enum email or download. Default: the contact's preferred sending method.
