Your smart scale shows the number at 7:00, but Fitatu does not take it from the scale, so the weight gets typed in by hand or not at all.

Can Fitatu do this on its own?

Fitatu does not import weight from smart scales or other apps, and it has no API to write it (checked 13 Oct 2026). It sends weight and height out to Health Connect and Apple Health, but not the other way.

How you do it in Fitatu today

  1. Open Measurements, found in the bottom menu by default, and tap Add in the top right corner.
  2. Enter the weight, and optionally circumferences or body fat, then save. Fitatu adds each measurement manually.
  3. To fix a wrong number, tap the date of the entry to edit or delete it. History sits at the bottom of the screen, with charts above.
  4. Fitatu says filling in Measurements is not required, so a busy week leaves a gap in the weight chart.

How to log your weight automatically in Fitatu

    Look at the last two weeks

    list_measurements runs for weight over the last 14 days, so your agent knows whether today already has an entry before it writes anything.

  2. 02

    Check the number against your rule

    The agent compares the new value with the previous entry. If it differs by more than the limit you gave, for example 3 kg, it asks you instead of logging a typo.

  3. 03

    Write the weigh-in

    log_measurement saves the weight for the date you pass. It waits for your OK by default, and you can switch that off for this tool once you trust the source.

  4. 04

    Report the trend

    From the entries it just read, the agent returns your change over the period and the weekly average, so the number is useful the same morning.

  5. 05

    Add other measurements on request

    On the days you also give a waist or body fat value, the same tool logs it with its type, one call per measurement.

What Fitatu allows, and what to know first

  • Fitatu Measurements can hold body weight, height, BMI (calculated automatically), neck, chest, waist, abdomen, hips, thigh, calf and arm circumferences, body fat and other metrics you define.
  • Fitatu says filling in Measurements is not required, and each measurement can be updated at any time.
  • Fitatu does not import weight automatically from smart scales or other apps, so the scale reading has to reach Fitatu through a tool like this one.
  • Fitatu lists advanced measurements among its Premium features, and its web version, which this job runs through, is a Premium and Premium+AI feature.

log_measurement asks for your OK by default. To run it daily without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
