Follow up on unanswered Jobber quotes with AI

You sent twenty quotes last week, half got no reply, and the clients who never answer are exactly the ones a short, personal nudge could win.

Cotlet does it in your own Jobber account with list_quotes, get_quote and send_quote, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Can Jobber do this on its own?

Jobber's Quote follow-ups, on the Connect plan and up, send up to two automatic reminders for quotes in Awaiting Response (checked 14 Oct 2026). The Grow plan adds a Custom Automation Builder. Both send the same kind of reminder to every client, and Zapier has a Quote Sent trigger but no action to send a quote.

How you do it in Jobber today

  1. Open the Quotes list and find quotes in Awaiting Response status, which Jobber sets when you send the quote.
  2. Open each quote to see when it went out and what the client was offered.
  3. Send a message by email or text from the quote, or set a quote reminder, which puts a follow-up on your calendar on any plan.
  4. On the Connect plan and up, Jobber's quote follow-ups also send up to two automatic reminders, each up to 90 days after the quote.
  5. Nobody checks the quotes the automatic reminders did not win back, so they age quietly.

How to follow up on unanswered Jobber quotes with AI

Prompt

List my Jobber quotes still awaiting response for 5 days or more. For each one, check the client's last quote and send the quote again with a short note offering to answer questions.
  1. 01

    List what is still open

list_quotes runs with status set to awaiting_response and sent_before set to your cut-off, oldest first, so the quotes closest to going cold come first.

  2. 02

Read the quote and the client

get_quote returns the line items, the total and the message sent with it, so the note can mention the actual work.

  3. 03

    Skip quotes that moved

A quote the client has since approved or asked changes on is no longer awaiting a reply. The agent checks the status again right before sending and skips it.

  4. 04

    Resend with a note

send_quote sends the quote again by the channel you choose, with a message that names the job. Each send waits for your OK by default.

  5. 05

    Report who stays open

The agent lists the quotes it resent and the oldest ones left, with the dollar value waiting on a reply.

What you get back

Example data

Quotes awaiting response 5+ days: 6, total $3,940.00
Resent 5 by email, e.g. Q-5498 Deck staining, Anna Kim, $1,200.00
Skipped 1: Q-5502 approved while I was running
Oldest still open: Q-5481, sent 23 days ago

Other ways to ask

  • Every Friday, resend quotes over $1,000 that are awaiting response and list the smaller ones.
  • Send a text instead of an email for quotes that were first sent by text.
  • Show me the quotes awaiting response, sorted by value, and send nothing.

What Jobber allows, and what to know first

  • Jobber's quote follow-ups go only to clients and contacts with "outstanding quote follow-ups" enabled in their communication settings.
  • Jobber sends a quote follow-up by the same method and at the same local time of day as the original quote.
  • Jobber limits quote follow-ups to two reminders, each set up to 90 days after the quote was sent.
  • Jobber hides a quote with changes requested from client hub until you amend it, create a new one or mark it Awaiting Response.
  • Quote reminders in Jobber are available on all plans and put a manual follow-up on your calendar.

send_quote asks for your OK by default. To run it weekly without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
