Queue posts in your Quora Space with an AI agent
Quora tells Space admins that consistent content lets followers know what to expect, yet posts get written in bursts: three on Sunday, nothing on Thursday. The Space queue spreads them out, but each item still goes through the post editor one at a time.
Cotlet does it in your own Quora account with list_my_spaces and post_to_space, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Can Quora do this on its own?
Quora has no API for Spaces (checked 12 Oct 2026). The Space queue is Quora's own scheduler: admins and moderators add items, and the pace is set per Space in the Queue tab. Quora's help describes no way to give one post its own date and time, and the queue fills only from the post editor, the share menu and the clock icons on Quora itself.
By hand
How you do it in Quora today
- Open the Space home page and click "Post in [Space name]" to open the post editor; the image icon adds pictures and "Aa" opens formatting.
- Instead of posting, click the arrow next to Post and select "Add to queue" so the post waits its turn.
- Set how the queue spreads items in the Queue tab under the Space Settings; Quora then releases queued items over a staggered period.
- Shared answers, suggestions and submissions join the same queue through the share dropdown or the clock icon, so the queue mixes everything waiting.
- Every post repeats the editor steps. Only admins and moderators get the queue option, so a contributor who writes the posts has to publish them live or hand them to an admin.
With an agent
How to queue posts in your Quora Space with an AI agent
Prompt
Take my three newest blog posts, write a Quora version of each for my Freelance Finance Space and add them to its queue. - 01
Check the role first
list_my_spaces shows your role in the chosen Space. Admin or moderator: the agent queues. Contributor: it can only publish live, so it asks whether to post now or hand the drafts to an admin. Follower: it stops.
- 02
Write for the feed, not the blog
Each post gets a title and opening lines that work on their own, because that is what followers see in notifications. If the Space requires an external link, a Quora link or text in every post, the agent asks for those rules once and checks each draft against them.
- 03
One idea per post, no copies
A long article is split only when each part stands alone. The agent never queues the same text twice, or two lightly reworded versions of one post, because followers would see the same title in their notifications again.
- 04
Queue in the order you approved
After your OK, post_to_space adds each draft in mode queue, in the order you set. Release times come from the Space's Queue tab, and the agent says so instead of promising a date.
What you get back
Example data
Space: Freelance Finance (you are an admin).
Queued 3 posts after your OK:
1. "Month-end checklist" (from your blog post of 2 Oct)
2. "Why I keep one card for business costs"
3. "Invoicing a client abroad: the three fields people forget"
Not queued: "VAT basics" overlaps "Month-end checklist"; merge them or pick one.
Release pace follows the Queue tab in your Space settings. Other ways to ask
- Post this announcement to my Space right away instead of queueing it.
- Every Sunday, turn my newsletter into two Space posts and add them to the queue.
- I am a contributor in Remote Work Money; post this article there now and tell me if an admin has to queue it.
Before you automate it
What Quora allows, and what to know first
- Quora lets only Space admins and moderators use the queue, while contributors post content directly to the Space.
- Quora sets the queue pace per Space in the Queue tab under Settings, and every queued item, including shared answers and queued submissions, is released over that staggered period.
- Quora Space settings can require an external link, a Quora link or text in every post under Content types > Advanced, and when several are checked each post must meet all of them.
- Quora shows readers the title, first few lines and image of a Space post in feeds, notifications and emails, and shows that content less often to people who ignore those notifications.
- Quora warns that a Space whose quality or focus slips over time may lose distribution.
post_to_space asks for your OK by default. To run it weekly without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
