Reply to SoundCloud comments and clear spam with an AI agent

1. On the web, open each track page and read the comments below the waveform, then reply directly on the waveform or on the track page.
2. SoundCloud Artist Pro creators can open Artist Studio instead, which lists comments from the whole catalog in date order.
3. To remove spam on the web, hover over the comment and click the trash can icon, then choose whether to report it as spam to SoundCloud Trust & Safety.
4. In the SoundCloud mobile app, open the full-screen player and tap Reply under a comment, or long-press it and pick Delete comment or Report comment.
5. A busy week means the same routine track by track, and the replies drift toward one copied "thanks for listening", which SoundCloud spam detection is built to catch.

Go through the comments on my tracks since yesterday. Draft a personal reply to each real fan, delete the promo-link spam and report it, and list anything you are unsure about.

   Read only what is new

   list_comments runs with since set to the last run and unanswered_only on, so a fan answered yesterday is not answered twice. Comments the authors deleted before the run simply do not appear.

   Sort every comment into one of four piles

   Fans reacting to the music, questions (download, stems, release date, gig), collaboration offers and spam. A comment counts as spam when it pushes a link, a promo service or "follow for follow" and says nothing about the track.

   Write replies that are not alike

   Each reply refers to what the fan wrote or the second of the track they marked. The agent never sends the same sentence twice in a run, because SoundCloud warns and then blocks accounts that post similar comments quickly.

   Remove spam with the text in front of you

   For each spam comment the agent shows the author and full text, then calls delete_comment with report_spam on. Deletion is permanent, so anything that looks like a real fan with a link, such as a remix of your track, goes to the unsure list instead.

5. 05

   Stop at the first block

   If SoundCloud shows a warning or a commenting block, the agent stops posting for the rest of the run and tells you when the block ends. It does not retry, because each new hit makes the next block longer.

No commenting warning from SoundCloud this run

• SoundCloud spam detection can block commenting after many similar comments in a short time; blocks expire on their own, support cannot lift them, and each repeat block lasts longer.
• SoundCloud requires a confirmed email address before an account can comment or reply, shown as "(Not confirmed)" in Account Settings.
• SoundCloud Quiet Mode, an Artist Pro setting in the track's Permissions tab, can turn off new comments or hide existing ones from the public.
• Links inside SoundCloud comments are not clickable in the mobile app, so a link-only comment can be checked only in a web browser.
• After Replace File with a shorter version, SoundCloud keeps the comments left on the old ending in the comment list but drops their avatars from the waveform.

reply_to_comment and delete_comment ask for your OK by default. To run it daily without you, switch confirmation off for those tools in your dashboard.
