Reschedule appointment
Move an appointment to a new date and time, or to another calendar.

Moves one appointment to the new datetime, and to another calendar if you pass one. Acuity returns an error if the appointment is canceled, is a class series, or the new time is not an open slot. Acuity emails and texts the client about the new time unless send_notification is false. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.
Parameters

| datetime string required | string | New start time, e.g. '2026-11-06T09:30:00-0500'. |
| calendar_id integer | integer | Move to this calendar. Without it, the calendar stays. |
| send_notification boolean | boolean | false sends no email or text to the client. Default: true. |
