GetYourGuide automation · runs weekly
Reply to GetYourGuide reviews before the 30-day window closes
Reviews arrive one notification at a time, and a busy week of tours means some sit unanswered. GetYourGuide accepts replies for 30 days only, so the ones saved for later quietly run out of time.
Cotlet does it in your own GetYourGuide account with list_reviews and reply_to_review, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Can GetYourGuide do this on its own?
GetYourGuide offers Review Reply in the Supplier Portal, with an Optimize button that checks one draft at a time (checked 12 Oct 2026). The review filters do not include reply status, and the Supplier API has no review endpoint, so keeping up inside the 30-day window is manual work.
By hand
How you do it in GetYourGuide today
- Log in to the Supplier Portal and open Performance > Reviews.
- Filter by product, option, travel date, review date, rating or traveler type to find recent reviews.
- Click Reply on a review, write in your own language and press Optimize to check the draft against the content guidelines.
- Click Send reply. GetYourGuide emails the reply to the traveler and translates it if needed, and it cannot be edited afterwards.
- Do this for each review within 30 days of posting, because older reviews can no longer be answered.
With an agent
How to reply to GetYourGuide reviews before the 30-day window closes
Prompt
Find GetYourGuide reviews from the last 30 days with a comment and no reply, draft answers that mention what each traveler wrote, and show me the 3-star and lower ones first. - 01
Build the queue inside the window
list_reviews with unanswered_only, since set 30 days back. Reviews without text are dropped, because GetYourGuide does not take replies to star-only reviews. The oldest come first, so the ones nearest the deadline are handled before they expire.
- 02
Triage by rating
Ratings of 4 and 5 get a thank-you that names the detail the traveler mentioned: the guide, the view, the food stop. Ratings of 3 and lower go to the top of your list with the complaint summarized in one line.
- 03
Draft to the rules that decide visibility
Each draft runs past 10 words, uses no emojis, never names GetYourGuide and never discusses prices or refunds; refund requests are pointed to Customer Care. A reply of 10 words or fewer, or one that mentions GetYourGuide, still reaches the traveler by email but stays off the activity page.
- 04
Flag reviews worth reporting instead
When a low review comes from a booking you believe was a no-show, the agent tells you before drafting. GetYourGuide removes such a review only if the no-show was reported within 24 hours after the activity, so a reply may not be the right move.
- 05
Publish after your OK
reply_to_review posts each approved draft. Replies cannot be edited, and one rejected in moderation cannot be sent again, so the agent shows the final text and you can change it first.
What you get back
Example data
9 reviews from the last 30 days without a reply, 2 star-only skipped
Rated 2, 3 Oct, Old Town Food Walk: "waited 20 minutes at the start", apology drafted, window closes 2 Nov
Rated 3, 5 Oct, Sunset Harbor Walking Tour: "too crowded at the pier", draft ready
Rated 5 (5 reviews): thank-you drafts name the guide or stop each traveler mentioned
7 drafts waiting for your OK Other ways to ask
- Every Friday, draft replies to new 5-star reviews of the harbor tour and post them after I approve.
- Which reviews lose their reply window in the next 5 days?
- Show me every review under 4 stars from September, with my reply if there is one.
Before you automate it
What GetYourGuide allows, and what to know first
- GetYourGuide accepts review replies only for reviews posted in the last 30 days, one reply per review, with no edits after sending.
- GetYourGuide shows a review reply on the activity page only if it has more than 10 words; a shorter reply reaches the traveler by email only.
- GetYourGuide filters out review replies that mention GetYourGuide, and a reply rejected in moderation cannot be resubmitted.
- GetYourGuide takes replies only on reviews with a comment, never on star-only reviews.
- GetYourGuide removes a review for non-participation only if the booking was marked no-show in the Supplier Portal within 24 hours after the activity ended and nothing points to a supplier-side issue.
reply_to_review asks for your OK by default. To run it weekly without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
