GetYourGuide automation
Update GetYourGuide tour prices in bulk for a new season
Next season's rates are decided, and now every option needs new numbers. In the Supplier Portal that means opening each product, then each option, then its pricing, one at a time.
Cotlet does it in your own GetYourGuide account with list_products and update_pricing, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Official options
Can GetYourGuide do this on its own?
GetYourGuide's help center describes price changes per option, under Availability & Pricing of each option (checked 12 Oct 2026). Price over API updates prices automatically, but only for options connected to a reservation system that supports it, and those API prices override manual ones.
By hand
How you do it in GetYourGuide today
- Open Manage > Products, click the three dots on a product and choose Edit details.
- Under Options, click Edit Option and go to Availability & Pricing in the left-hand menu.
- Add a new schedule with its own start date for the season, then enter the price under Customer pays for each pricing category.
- Save and repeat for the next option. Per-person and per-group pricing always sit in separate options, and so do variants with another group size, duration or meeting point, each with its own prices.
- Check the live activity page afterwards, because travelers pay exactly the retail price entered, and that price must already include all taxes and fees.

How to update GetYourGuide tour prices in bulk for a new season
Prompt
From 1 April, raise the adult and child price on every English option by 8%, round to whole euros, and show me old and new prices before you change anything. - 01
Read the current prices per category
list_products gives the agent every option with its categories and currency. It computes each new price from the current one, applies the rounding you asked for, and leaves categories you did not name alone.
- 02
Leave out options priced by a reservation system
An option whose Availability & Pricing shows "Consumed by the reservation system" takes its prices from that system, and the next sync replaces a manual price. The agent asks you which options are connected and skips them.
- 03
Ask about special offers on those dates
GetYourGuide forbids raising a price and then discounting it in a special offer. Before you confirm, the agent asks whether an offer runs or is planned on the affected dates, so the raise does not collide with it.
- 04
Show the change in one list
You see option, category, old price, new price and start date side by side. Anything odd is flagged: a price that would fall, or a rounding step that adds more than you asked on a cheap child ticket.
- 05
Write after your OK, and stop on a failure
update_pricing runs per option with your start date. If a call fails, the agent stops and reports which options already carry new prices and which do not, so a half-changed season does not go unnoticed.
What you get back
Example data
Price change from 1 Apr 2027, +8%, rounded to whole euros (EUR):
Sunset Harbor Walking Tour, English small group: adult 40 to 43, child 20 to 22
Old Town Food Walk, English: adult 65 to 70, child 35 to 38
Skipped: Harbor Boat Cruise, prices come from your reservation system
2 options to change, waiting for your OK Other ways to ask
- Lower the child price on the boat tour to 15 EUR from next Monday.
- List current adult and child prices on all my options so I can plan next season.
- Raise only the Spanish-language options by 5 EUR per adult from 1 June.
Before you automate it
What GetYourGuide allows, and what to know first
- GetYourGuide prices an option either per person or per group/vehicle, never both, so a group variant is a separate option with its own price change.
- GetYourGuide requires the retail price to be the final price the traveler pays, including all taxes and fees, and your commission is deducted from it.
- GetYourGuide fetches Price over API prices on a schedule (every 4 hours for the next 7 days, daily for the next 30), not in real time.
- GetYourGuide special offer rules say a strike-through price must be the lowest price charged in the preceding month, and repeated raise-then-discount cases block you from special offers.
update_pricing asks for your OK by default. To run it on a schedule without you, switch confirmation off for that tool in your dashboard.
