Okendo automation · runs daily
Moderate pending Okendo reviews with AI
Reviews that fail your auto-publish rules wait in Reviews > Moderation as Pending, and someone has to open each card and click Publish or Reject before the 14 days run out.
Cotlet does it in your own Okendo account with list_reviews, get_review, publish_review and reject_review, called by your AI agent, an n8n workflow or a script.

Can Okendo do this on its own?
Okendo auto-publishes by rules at Reviews > Settings > Publishing (checked 23 Oct 2026): a minimum star rating, and optional blocks for unverified reviews, media, profanity and negative sentiment. A review held by the star rating or sentiment rule stays pending for 14 days, then publishes on its own. The Merchant API can update reviews for enterprise customers, and the official MCP server never sees pending reviews. Nothing in Okendo decides by what the review says.
How you do it in Okendo today
- In the Okendo admin, open Reviews > Moderation and set the filter at the top left to Pending.
- Each review card shows the product, customer name and email in the sidebar, then the rating, title, text and photos, and in the toolbar the sentiment and a profanity flag.
- Check the verification mark: an icon beside the name means a verified buyer who reviewed through a Sequence request, a green checkmark after the email means a verified reviewer, and no mark means unverified.
- Click Publish or Reject on the toolbar of each card; to hide one photo, hover over it and click the hide button.
- Settings under Reviews > Settings > Publishing only cover star rating, unverified reviewers, media, profanity and negative sentiment, so every other judgment stays a manual click.
How to moderate pending Okendo reviews with AI
Go through the pending reviews in Okendo. Publish genuine product feedback, reject reviews that name a competitor or contain personal details, and leave the rest pending with a one-line reason. - 01
Read the queue
Your agent calls list_reviews with status pending and follows next_cursor until it comes back empty, so a backlog after a sale is judged as one batch. The newest reviews go last, because the oldest are closest to the 14-day mark.
- 02
Open what the card hides
For each review get_review brings the full text, every photo, the sentiment, the profanity flag and the verification mark. The agent reads the text itself, since Okendo only scores it.
- 03
Apply your rule
Each review is matched against the rule in your prompt, for example "names a competitor", "contains an order number or phone number" or "is about shipping, not the product". The agent quotes the sentence it relied on, so you see why a review passed or failed.
- 04
Publish, then reject
publish_review runs for the passes first, reject_review for the rest. Both show or hide a review on your storefront, so each waits for your OK until you switch confirmation off. The agent never edits text: Okendo allows no edits except profanity censoring.
- 05
Leave doubts pending
A review the rule cannot settle stays pending and goes on your list with one line of reason. Run the job daily and nothing sits long enough to publish itself unseen.
What you get back
Pending reviews: 11
Published 7 (genuine product feedback, e.g. "Love the fit, runs true")
Rejected 2 (one names a competitor, one has a phone number)
Left for you 2:
- "Strap broke after a week": possible refund claim
- "Arrived late but great quality": mixed, your call Other ways to ask
- Every morning, publish pending reviews from verified buyers with 4 stars or more and list the rest.
- Reject pending reviews that mention a phone number, an email address or an order number.
- Show me the pending reviews with photos and say which show something other than the product.
What Okendo allows, and what to know first
- Okendo does not let you delete a review, only reject it, and it does not let you edit one, except to censor profanity.
- Auto-publish rules apply only to reviews received after you save them.
- A published review goes back to pending when the customer changes it, for example by adding media or a new avatar, and Okendo checks it against your rules again.
- Okendo asks you to reject a review and send the customer a direct link when they want to change their text, because customers cannot edit their own reviews.
publish_review and reject_review ask for your OK by default. To run it daily without you, switch confirmation off for those tools in your dashboard.

Frequently asked questions
Why not just lower the auto-publish star rating?
The star rating rule only looks at the number. Okendo recommends setting it to 1 and replying to negative reviews, which publishes everything that passes the other blocks, including a review that names a competitor or shows a phone number. This job reads the text.

Yes. You sign in to Okendo yourself, in your own Cloud Browser in the EU, and we never save your password. Your agents only get Okendo once you enable it, every background request is listed, and the browser profile is stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM, the cipher 1Password uses for its vaults. The AI model never sees a login, posts and messages wait for your OK, and Disable for agents cuts access in one click.
