Regenerate a summary
Write the summary of a call again from a template, with extra instructions you give.

Selects a summary template on the call page, adds your instructions with the gear icon and clicks Regenerate Summary. The new text replaces the summary shown on the call, including for people the call is shared with. Set apply_to_future to true to also click Apply to Future Summaries, which keeps the instructions for that template. Summary customization needs a Premium or Team plan. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.

| call_id string required | string | Call ID from list_calls: the number in the call address, fathom.video/calls/{call_id}. |
| template string | string | Name of a summary type as listed on the call page. Default: the one selected now. |
| instructions string | string | Extra guidance for the AI, for example a tone or a section to add. |
| apply_to_future boolean | boolean | true to keep the instructions for future summaries of this template. Default: false. |
