Save a URL

Save a web page to your reading list, optionally into a folder, with tags.

POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/instapaper/bookmark/save

write

Saves the URL as a new article, in Home or straight into a folder or the archive. Tags you pass are created if they do not exist. Without a title, Instapaper looks the title up, which makes the call slower. Reaches no one and is undone with one move_bookmark or delete_bookmark call, so it runs without asking. Returns the new article.

Parameters

Parameters: save_bookmark

url string required string The page to save.
title string string Title to show. If left out, it is looked up.
folder_id integer integer Folder ID from list_folders. Default: Home.
archived boolean boolean Save straight to the Archive. Default: false.
tags string[] string[] Tag names to apply. New names are created.
