Add a note
Write a note on a service record, internal by default.
POST https://cotlet.dev/api/v1/sysaid/records/{record_id}/notes
write Confirm
Returns the note ID and whether it is internal or shared. Notes can notify users and groups your admin set up for "Notes are added", and an @mention in the text emails the person named. A shared note reaches the requester. By default you confirm each call; you can switch that off for this tool.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| record_id integer required | integer | Service record ID from search_service_records. IDs are unique across incidents, requests, problems and changes. |
| body string required | string | Text of the note, 5,000 characters at most, no emojis. |
| share_with_requester boolean | boolean | true shows the note to the request user. A shared note cannot be made internal again. Default false. |
